FIGHTING FOR SPORT AND HEALTH CAMP “MEDYK”

Recently we told about vacation in camp “Medyk” – place, which had special atmosphere, special energetic, place, where lecturers and students forgot about hard, full of revolutionary events and changes studying year, hard tireless work, and sleepless nights under textbooks. On 25^th of July new check-in started there, and also 29 families from ATO area moved in there.

But it seems people, who have millions in a pocket, don’t want students and lecturers –simple people to be there. In their opinion the ground in Koncha-Zaspa shall belong only to the “chosen ones”. That is why it is been a fighting for camp territory during the 5 years. It was tried to privatize by two private persons – “driver” and “cook” (how ridiculous it may sounds!). Actually everybody understands that it is really an illegal seizure of big territory of very expensive land in village Kozyn. There were many trials, many witnesses, many said and not less decision taken during these 5 years. Not all of them were in favor of us We think you understand how it is in our country – which pays more – wins. But after all events in our country judges began to be afraid of outraged people and finally took the fair decisions. On 27^th of March. Bogomolets National Medical University’s appealed had been satisfied and the territory of “Medyk” was returned to the possession of our university. We were glad, because we thought it would be the final end of litigation. But for how long does the conciseness of judges last? Not for a long. 24.07. the half of camp (meadow and beach – 2 hectares) was again occupied by raiders.

But we don’t give up and we will continue fighting. Trials, appeals, decisions will be again. Because there is no land for chosen ones, because many shall not solve everything! We will not give away our camp.

P.S. Maybe winter events didn’t change, teach anything the corrupted judges and raiders, but they changed us – simple people. All events in our country made us confident and freed from fear. We don’t ask to take illegal decisions – we ask for justice. We do not threat anybody – we remind that people’s rage means a lot, and people’s voice is much more precious than money.
