TO SPECIALIST’S DAY
“Marketing and management at the service of medicine and pharmacy”. That was the main topic for Specialist’s Day, which was held in reading hall of scientific library at University on 10, May, 2016 for chief doctors, their deputies, heads at divisions, doctors of the capital and Kyiv region.
The event was organized by joint efforts from employees of library at University and department of health care management, Candidates of Medicine, assistant professors T.A. Vezhnovets and V.V. Taran.
The head at library L.O. Matiukhina made the welcome speech and told about history of library, its structure and work on preparation and performance of cultural educational events to the 175th anniversary of O.O. Bohomolets NMU and 135thanniversary of scientific library.
The assistant professor at department of health care management Vira Vasylivna Taran presented the lecture “History in development of health care in Ukraine”.
The book and illustration exhibition “Marketing and management at service of medicine and pharmacy” was presented to the present people. In total 105 sources were exhibited. The heads at department of service at library L.V. Galytska and A.O. Kovel, chief bibliographer T.K. Samusenko made the bibliographic review of books and periodicals, provided with the consultations for work with electronic catalogue, internet resources, reference and bibliographic card catalogue, etc. The recommendation list of literature “Management and marketing in health care system of Ukraine” was prepared and distributed among participants in the event.
The urgency of topics, being discussed, was confirmed by lively discussion and active exchange of opinions between colleagues that took place at the end of the event.
