TO THE ATTENTION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS OF HIGHER MEDICAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF DONETSK AND LUHANSK REGIONS, AUTONOMOUS REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA

According to the Decree of Bogomolets NMU’s University administration (dated 18.08.2014) Deanery on work with foreign students shall register applications from foreign students of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
As of the date: from Donetsk region submitted 38 applications, Luhansk – 22 applications. Namely: 27 – Nigeria, 12 – Iraq, 6 – Bangladesh, 3 – Germany, 2 – Azerbaijan, 2 – Iran, 1 – Palestine, 1 – Jordan, 1 – Ghana, 1 – Namibia, 1 – Maldives, 1 – Mauritius, 1 – Bahrain, 1 – Uzbekistan.
Number of vacant seats in the respective faculties of Bogomolets NMU is sufficient to ensure transfer of this category of students. These students are entitled to priority settlements in hostels.
In the event of origination of the need to increase seats for faculty and courses, the University will conduct the adjustments of licensed number in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Regarding the transfer of students from Ukrainian universities of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the National Medical University appealed to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with a proposal about how to resolve this issue and obtain explanations (http://www.nmu.edu.ua/news-open.php?id_news=2203) . University Administration is waiting for a response and the prompt resolution of this issue.
