THE 1ST STAGE OF ALL-UKRAINIAN STUDENTS’ OLYMPIAD IN DISCIPLINE “GENERAL ECOLOGY”

The 1^st stage of all-Ukrainian Students’ Olympiad in discipline “General Ecology’ took place at department of hygiene and ecology No 3.

The Olympiad was opened by head at department, professor Serhii Harkavyi. Despite the fact that this discipline is only the part of course “Hygiene and ecology”, the students always showed the high interest to the event and readiness to test their knowledge. The department performs the ecological Olympiad starting since 2009, and as a result the department has the diplomas of the first, second and third degrees, acquired by students-members during 2 stages of Olympiad in Odessa and Poltava. Solving the tasks, the students demonstrated the high level of knowledge, having performed 80-90% of set tasks.

Due to results from Olympiad: 1^st place – student of the 5^th group in medical faculty No 4 in the 1^st course Pasha Yurii; 2^nd place – student in the 13^th group in medical faculty No 3 in the 3^rd course Leonidova Aliona, 3^rd place – student of the 3^rd group in FTDAFU in the 3^rd course Honcharenko Vadym. The winners will be recommended for participation in the next stage of competition.

The 2^nd stage of Olympiad will be held on 18-20, April in c. Kyiv on the base of National University of Bioresources and Nature Use of Ukraine. We wish the successes to our winners!
