GRANTS FOR RESEARCHES AND PROBATION FROM GOVERNMENT OF SWITZERLAND

On 1, September, 2016, the government of Switzerland announced the competition on receipt of grants for performance of researches, writing PhD theses and passage through medical specialization at leading universities of Switzerland for foreign citizens, including citizens of Ukraine.

Every year the Swiss Confederation grants the research scholarships in order to develop the international exchanges and scientific research cooperation between Switzerland and more than 180 countries.

The target group to provide with these grants is young researchers from other countries, who had acquired the degree of master or PhD.

This year the following 3 kinds of grants are provided for Ukrainian citizens – graduates with the degree of master or PhD under any specialty:

1) for performance of researches or for passage through medical specialization for masters and postgraduate students;
2) for acquisition of PhD degree at one from 10 leading higher schools in Switzerland
3) for performance of researches at the level of post-doc.

Deadline for submission of application – 5, December, 2016.

The results from acceptance of application will be known in May, 2017 and the probation shall start in September, 2017.
