PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE SIGNED THE LAW WHICH FREE STUDENTS AND ASPIRANTS OF FULL-TIME EDUCATION FROM MOBILIZATION

On 22^nd of July 2014 President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the Law about changes to students and aspirants, which are to be drafted to military service, guaranties legislation.

Document defines that full-time education students and aspirants shall not be drafted to military service during the mobilization for special period.

According to Law of Ukraine N 1575-VII “About changes to Laws of Ukraine “On Education” and “On Mobilization preparation and mobilization”, students, attendees, cadets, trainees, clinical attending physicians, doctoral student and pedagogic, scientifically-pedagogic workers during their military service due to mobilization for special period keep their studying places (including government-paid) at educational establishments.

Also citizens, which interrupted studying or work in educational establishments due to draft, will receive additional social and financial supporting, working place, position and previous average income. Payment for studying will be decreased.

Besides, they will have the right for postponement of passing the examinational session and state accreditation for indicated period.

Cabinet of Ministers shall adjust its regulatory acts to corresponding Law in a month since validation date. The law is valid from the day of its publishing.
