INTERACTIVE LECTURE BY RECTOR KATERYNA AMOSOVA FOR STUDENTS OF THE 5TH COURSE
Since the start of spring semester the University implemented the new format to read lectures using interactive technologies with duration of 45 minutes.
The open lecture by rector Kateryna Amosova on topic “Arterial hypertension” for students of the 5th course took place on 5, February, 2018. The lecture was aimed to practical use of material with modern concepts of treatment. Arranging the feedback with students using the panels for quiz is new in reading the modern lecture. This provides with the immediate feedback from student to teacher. Using such voting system, the questionnaire of students in the form of tests was held during the lecture that allowed actively involving the students into lecture process itself and the possibility to learn the information.
According to the words by students, the new format of lectures improved the interactivity of lecture and availability of material as each section in the lecture was illustrated on the example of test, where they at once received the possibility to apply recently heard information in practice, and, accordingly, better to remember.
At the end of the lecture the students received the questionary forms to evaluate the lecture. The received data are analyzed that enables understanding how available and interesting the material is for students.
