THE COLLECTIVE OF NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY EXPRESSED THE COMPLETE TRUST TO THE RECTOR KATERYNA AMOSOVA

The conference of labor collective at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University due to results from speech by Kateryna Amosova unanimously approved the report about fulfillment of collective agreement and terms of agreement with head of this higher school. Such decision was approved due to results from meeting of delegates from labor collective of O.O. Bogomolets NMU and its Scientific Council. “To express the complete trust and support”, – says the protocol of decision by CLC.

“During recent years our university consistently confirms its position as one of the leading higher schools in the country. The number of national students has increased from 12.2 thousands in 2014 to 13.2 thousands last year. We can state the stable growth of foreign students, who chose namely our higher school”, – mentioned Kateryna Amosova.

Hereby, the rector emphasized the fact that from year to year the educational bar is raised both for entrants, who enter O.O. Bogomolets NMU, and students, who study there. In particular, the requirements to the number of scores at submission of documents pursuant to the results from external independent assessment are increased to the entrants.

And the fact that the number of students, who study at higher school on contractual basis, is constantly growing, according to the words by Ye. Amosova, is not the reason for professors and teachers for common money earning.

“We shall be socially responsible to the society for trained doctors. And thus we consciously say goodbye to those ones, who study not at proper level. Because the health and life of our people stands behind this”, – emphasized Doctor Amosova in her report.

Separately the rector reported about improvement of level of scientific work at higher school, which she manages. The teachers and students of O.O. Bogomolets NMU are the constant participants in international conferences and symposiums, their works are published in leading world field-specific editions. And the scientific research searches are of demand in the market.

“Only for last year namely thanks to scientific activity our scientists earned about UAH 48 millions. This money is received thanks to scientific developments and researches, which were held both at our departments and in laboratories due to order from different state and commercial organizations”, – stated K. Amosova.

The rector of National Medical University mentioned the fact that already during the send year in succession the higher school, headed by her, is included into composition of leading top seven best higher schools in the country according to expert rating TOP 200 and takes the leading position among all medical universities in Ukraine.
