LECTURE OF THE GERMAN POLITOLOGIST ANDREAS UMLAND AT THE NMU

07.11.2016

On October, 28, 2016, the German politologist and historian Mr. Andreas Umland made a lecture “Challenges of and Pathways to Ukraine’s Future Security: Possible Assurances, Alliances and Actions” for the students of the NMU.

The event has demonstrated one more time the importance of political awareness for all citizens of Ukraine, including physicians. A physician, who has his/her own opinion and is striving for constant development, should always stay abreast Challenges of the security in Ukraine, pathways of solving the conflict in the East of our country, possible cooperation with international organisations, EU and NATO membership, consequences for Ukraine of the president elections in the USA, politics of memory – these are only a small part of the content of lecture which raised such a high interest in students, that they did not give up questioning the lector till 9 p.m.

NMU thanks to Mr. Umland for coming to the University with the lecture.
