MASTER CLASS “BASICS OF OSTEOSYNTHESIS AT FRACTURES IN CHILDREN” AT DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRIC SURGERY

At modern stage learning the theoretical knowledge that is confirmed by practical one is the top-priority direction in work of student at medical higher school. On 28, March, 2018 at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University the representatives from department of pediatric surgery – assistants Candidate of Medicine Holovatiuk D.V. and Candidate of Medicine Karabeniuk O.V. presented the report on topic “Basics of osteosynthesis in pediatric traumatology”, which described the modern opinions on problem for operative treatment of patients of childish age with traumas of locomotor system.

During practical part of master class the students mastered the basic skills of external fixation and extrafocal osteosynthesis on models of thigh bone at fractures in children.
