MASTER CLASS IN BASICS OF ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY

On 14, February, 2018 within the II all-Ukrainian scientific practical conference of students, interns and young scientists “Interesting cases in clinical medicine” at department of internal medicine No 2 assistant professor Andrii Bezrodnyi performed the master class in basics of echocardiography. The guests from Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia took part in master class.

Assistant professor Bezrodnyi started from the brief lecture with the main positions and parameters that are measured and further demonstrated all that on one from students. Each participant had the possibility on his/her own, after explanations to try to take all positions and to make the necessary measurements. If necessary, Andrii Borysovych personally helped correctly to set the sensors. Namely learning such practical skills, which are vitally necessary in practice of doctor, is the important part of education as rector Kateryna Amosova emphasizes: “The final purpose of study is not taking the exams but acquiring the professional competencies, which everyday would help to save the life!” The students thank the head at department Halyna Mostbauer and head of club, assistant professor Ihor Prudkyi for organization of master class.
