MEETING-PERFORMANCE BY STUDENTS FROM NMU AGAINST SELF-WILL OF MHC

On 5, April, 2018 near Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the students from O.O. Bogomolets NMU held the meeting-performance against self-will and legal nihilism by acting minister Uliana Suprun and team from MHC of Ukraine. Having dressed the black raincoats and opened the black umbrellas, the students demonstrated the ceremony for burial of medical education and autonomy of medical university as they think that Uliana Suprun and Oleksandr Linchevskyi consciously destroy the most innovative university of Ukraine – O.O. Bogomolets NMU, which head publicly expressed the criticism in work of Testing Center – old corruptive benefactress of MHC, having demonstrated the low quality in testing product to the society, which produces this organization and the corruptive schemes, which results in embezzlement of budget funds.

The culmination of harassment for year and half and pressure on university administration was the illegal and cynical dismissal of Kateryna Amosova from the post of rector, which took place with direct infringement in Law of Ukraine “About Higher Education”, Article 15, item 3, which says that MHC of Ukraine early terminates the contract with the head of higher school exclusively due to presentation from the highest collegial body of public self-government of higher school that is the Conference of Labor Collective, which in 2018 approved the work of rector and her report. The studentship of NMU supports the rector Kateryna Amosova and blames the actions by MHC of Ukraine, which destroys the medical education and university autonomy of higher medical school.
