SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION “INFECTIOUS DISEASES AT CHILDREN: MODERN VIEW ON DIAGNOSTICS, TREATMENT AND PREVENTION”
The scientific practical conference with international participation “Infectious diseases at children. Modern view on diagnostics, treatment and prevention” took place on 29, March, 2018. The event was included into “Register of meetings, congresses, symposiums and scientific practical conferences that are held in 2018 by MHC and NAMS of Ukraine (No 47). The topic of the conference was devoted to the problems on treatment of diarrhea and respiratory diseases, chronic viral hepatitis, diseases with syndrome of exanthema, herpes virus infections.
The organizers of the conference were the Ministry of health care of Ukraine, department of pediatric infectious diseases at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University.
The conference was opened by welcome speech of professor S.O. Kramariov (head at department of pediatric infectious diseases at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, Doctor of Medicine) with the report on topic “Modern approaches in evidence-based medicine”.
Professor Voitsekh Sluzhevskyi, head at department of infectious diseases and pediatric neurology at medical university in c. Poznan, Poland, made the report on topic “Probiotics – the art of treatment”.
25 reports by leading specialists in Ukraine were heard in total during work of the conference, among them 10 reports from employees at department of pediatric infectious diseases: professor Kramaryov S.O., professor Vyhovska O.V., assistant professor Palatna L.O., assistant professor Yevtushenko V.V., assistant Zakordonets L.V. The head at department of pediatrics No 1, leading children’s hepatologist of Ukraine and world professor Berezenko V.S. represented O.O. Bogomolets NMU with the report on topic “Pegylated interferon in treatment of chronic viral hepatitis C at children. Realities of today”.
The reports about peculiarities for run of measles at servicemen during outbreak in 2017 caused to interests (professor Trykhlib V.I., Military Medical Academy), clinical cases of congenial chicken pox (assistant professor Palatna L.O., O.O. Bogomolets NMU), modern approaches to treatment Epstein-Barr viral infection (professor Vyhovska O.V., O.O. Bogomolets NMU), rehydration therapy at infectious diseases at children (assistant Zakordonets L.V., O.O. Bogomolets NMU).
The conference paid attention to the problems of treatment and prevention of pneumococcal infection, modern approaches to treatment of acute respiratory diseases, syndrome of cholestasis, chronic viral hepatitis C at children, peculiarities of tuberculosis at children of early age, Haemophilus influenzae in countries of Europe and Ukraine.
The head at departments of pediatric infectious diseases, infectious diseases, pediatrics from leading medical educational establishments of Ukraine took part in work of the conference: professor Duda O.K. (P.L. Shupyka NMAPE), professor Beketova H.V. (P.L. Shupyka NMAPE), professor Usachova O.V. (Zaporizhzhia State Medical University), professor Nezhoda I.I. (Vinnytsia National Medical University), professor Kharchenko Yu.P. (Odessa National Medical University), professor Koloskova O.K (Bukovyna State Medical University).
559 specialists from all regions of Ukraine took part in work of the conference – pediatricians-infectiologists, pediatricians, infectiologists, general practitioners – family doctors, doctors-interns, students from the 5th, 6th courses at O.O. Bogomolets NMU. The participants in the conference took an active part in its work – put the urgent questions to reporters, as well as participated in their discussions.
