O.O. BOHOMOLETS NMU IS AT THE FIRST PLACE IN RATING OF THE BEST MEDICAL HIGHER SCHOOLS
On 5, July, 2016 the information resource “Osvita.ua” promulgated the list of medical higher schools that took the highest places in consolidated rating of higher medical schools of Ukraine in 2016.
O.O. Bohomolets National medical university takes the first place among the best medical schools of Ukraine.
The ratings that were used while composing the consolidated rating of higher schools in Ukraine:
“TOP-200 Ukraine” – the activity of higher schools in rating is assessed using the aggregated index (integral index), which is formed pursuant to direct measurement indicators (80%), expert assessment of quality in training of graduates from HS by representatives of employers and academic community (15%), as well as using the international scientometric and web-metric data (5%).
Rating “Scopus” – results from rating of higher schools are based on indices of Scopus database that is a tool to track the citation of scientific articles, which are published by educational establishment or its employees in scientific editions. Higher schools of Ukraine in rating table are ranged due to Hirsch index – quantitative index that is based on a number of scientific publications and number of citations of those publications.
International rating “Webometrix” accounts for a number of pages of higher school’s site, indexed by search systems, the external references to it, citation of resource, as well as the number of files, uploaded to the site (in other words, the content and information activity of site of educational establishment). “Webometrix” rating is published twice a year.
