PERFORMANCE OF THE 1ST STAGE IN ALL-UKRAINIAN STUDENTS’ OLYMPIADS IN DISCIPLINES “CLINICAL IMMUNOLOGY AND ALLERGOLOGY” AND “MEDICAL GENETICS”
According to the order from MES of Ukraine, dd. 09.12.2016 No 1495 “About performance of all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in 2016/2017 academic year” at department of clinical immunology and allergology with section of medical genetics”, the 1st stage in all-Ukrainian Students’ Olympiad (AUSO) in academic disciplines “clinical immunology and allergology”, “medical genetics” was held on 22, February, 2018.
The students were welcomed by head at department professor Kurchenko A.I., who wished the success to participants in selective tournament. 10 students from the 6th and 5th course from all medical faculties took part in the first tournament of Olympiad. The program for the 1st stage in AUSO included the solution of new tests in format of Step 2 and solution of situational tasks. All participants in the 1st stage of AUSO demonstrated the sufficient level of knowledge. Due to results from passage through tests and clinical oriented interlocution, the winners in the 1st stage in all-Ukrainian Students’ Olympiad in disciplines “clinical immunology and allergology” were Taras Veryshchak – student in the 6th course of medical faculty No 2 (1st place), Taras Baranovskyi – student of the 5th course in medical faculty No 2 (2nd place), Viktoriia Tovshchyk – student of the 5th course in medical faculty No 4 (3rd place); in discipline “medical genetics” – Taras Baranovskyi – student of the 5th course in medical faculty No 2 (1st place), Andrii Kravchuk – students of the 5th course in medical faculty No 2 (2nd place), Sofiia Shatylo – student of the 5th course in medical faculty No 4 (3rd place). The teams of winners in the 1st stage in AUSO will represent O.O. Bogomolets NMU at the second stage in all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiads, which will be held at Kharkiv National Medical University.
