The assistant at department of therapeutic dentistry at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University Anatolii Savychuk together with specialists from department of orthopedic dentistry in Aristoteles University, c. Thessalonica, Greece (professor Petros Koidis) and specialists from faculty of machine building at National Technical University, c. Athens, Greece (professor Christopher Provatidis, Christos Halanis) published the results from joint research in international occupational edition “The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry”. The journal is indexed in Scopus, has one of the highest indices for level of citation and impact-factor 2.201 under Clarivate analytics (Thomson Reuters) among world professional editions in orthopedic dentistry. The topic of research: “Stress generation in mandibular anterior teeth restored with different types of post-and-core at various levels of ferrule”.

The purpose of research was to define the impact of different intrachannel posts on mechanical stability of teeth, restored with crowns at different degree of tooth destruction. The impact from anatomical peculiarities of cutting teeth and canine teeth on their mechanical endurance was also determined. The method of mathematical analysis for Finite Elements of spring-loaded deformed states in virtual 3D models of lower jaw with restored frontal teeth was used.

The biomechanical peculiarities for cutting teeth of lower jaw, restored by different methods. The comparative analysis of loads was performed in all elements of restoration structures with fiber glass and cast metal posts and the elements of restoration, where the irreversible deformation are possible, were defined.
