IMPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM OF CONTINUING SCIENTIFIC EDUCATION AT MEMBERS IN O.A. KYSIL STUDENTS’ SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS OF UNIVERSITY

The regular meeting of students and young scientists within scientific educational cycle “Scientific research from A to Z”, where the topic “Classification and characteristics of statistical clinical epidemiological researches”, took place on 17, January, 2018 at department of social medicine and public health. The event was performed according to the order of O.O. Bogomolets NMU No 692, dd. 10.11.2017 “About organization of continuing scientific education for members in O.A. Kysil Students’ Scientific Society and young scientists of university”.

Lecturer, Candidate of Pedagogy, senior teacher Donik O.M. in his speech and presentation described some issues: design or research (ethics for performance of research, structure of research, control group of research (procedure and peculiarities of formation), kinds of control, randomization and stratification, classification of researches (due to time, volume and character of interferences), descriptive researches, analytical researches; case-control researches, index of odds ratio (OR); calculation and assessment; analytical researches; cohort researches, index of relative risk (RR); calculation and assessment; screening researches; randomized clinical researches.

The postgraduate students, clinical residents, Master’s Degree students, aspirants, heads of students’ scientific clubs took part in discussion of lecture. During discussion the answers were given to the questions of the audience, the gratitude to the lecturer were received, the optimal procedure for next meetings was defined.
