PROBATION WITHIN INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OF STUDENTS

The great attention at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university is paid to the programs for professional exchanges of medical students.

Every year the students of university within bilateral agreements pass through probation abroad. As well, every year foreign students are probated at clinical departments of NMU.

This year the student from Brown University (USA) Rachel Panadily passes through probation at department of Phthisiology and Pulmonology at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university and performs the scientific research. The international exchange became possible thanks to conclusion of agreement about scientific cooperation between Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University (c. Providence, Rhode Island, USA) and O.O. Bohomolets NMU. The student has also been working on research of problems on children’s tuberculosis in the families, where parents suffer from resistant tuberculosis.

As well in August, within bilateral exchange, the employees of NMU Arkadiy Vodianyk and Stanislav Ustynov will pass through probation in Miriam Hospital at Brown University, where they will learn the organization of medical care in departments of children’s infectious diseases, as well as the activity of scientific laboratories, where the problems of tuberculosis are studied.
