THE ACCEPTANCE OF DOCUMENTS TO POSTGRADUATE COURSES AT O.O. BOHOMOLETS NMU LASTS

O.O. Bohomolets NMU passed through licensing due to the third (educational scientific) level of higher education that corresponds to the eighth qualification level of National qualifications framework and anticipates person’s acquiring the theoretical knowledge, abilities, skills and other competencies, sufficient for production of new ideas, solution of complex problems in the sphere of professional and/or research innovative activity, possessing the methodology of scientific and pedagogical activity, as well as performance of won scientific research, which results have the scientific novelty, theoretical and practical importance in preparation of dissertation for acquisition of scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in medical sciences.
The implementation of educational activity at the third (educational scientific) level of higher education at O.O. Bohomolets NMU is carried out pursuant to received license and licensing volume under specialties 221 Dentistry – 50 persons, 222 Medicine – 150 persons, 225 Medical and psychological rehabilitation – 30 persons, 226 Pharmacy – 50 persons (Annex 1 – Letter from MES and extract from order No 771, dd. 04.07.2016).
The training of candidates for PhD degree at O.O. Bohomolets NMU is held at postgraduate courses under full-time (day and evening) and extramural forms of study due to educational scientific program and curriculum. The educational component anticipates performing the curriculum within 47 credits of European credit transfer system (ECTS), and scientific component – public presentation of dissertation.
According to the state order the postgraduate courses are anticipated with day release (full-time daytime form of study) with payout of stipendium and without day release (full-time evening form of study) without payout of stipendium. The extramural form of study is carried out only at the expenses of natural persons and legal entities.
The normative period of study at postgraduate courses is 4 years.
The acceptance of documents for entrance to postgraduate courses is carried out by admission commission together with department of postgraduate and doctoral courses at O.O. Bohomolets NMU since 20, July until 20, August, 2016 according to the Rules for admission to postgraduate courses at O.O. Bohomolets NMU.
The entrants to postgraduate courses take two exams in corresponding specialty in the form of interlocution (within the volume of program at level of higher education of master (specialist) and in foreign language (English, German) within the volume that corresponds to B2 level in European recommendations for linguistic education.
The periods for performance of entrance exams: since 5 until 9, September, 2016.
The enrollment for study is carried out due to contest principles. The study starts since 15, September.
The plan for admission of postgraduate students under state order in 2016, brought to O.O. Bohomolets NMU under order from MHC of Ukraine, dd. 26.07.2016 No 761, is 38 persons.
