PARTICIPATION OF NMU’S TEAM IN SIMGAME (C. KRAKOW, REPUBLIC OF POLAND)

Our congratulations to the students’ team from O.O. Bogomolets NMU on successful performance at SimGame (games in simulation medicine) that took place on 17, March at Simulation Center at Medical Faculty at Jagellonian University, c. Krakow, Republic of Poland.

The teams from Republic of Poland, the United States of America and Ukraine took part in the contest. The contest was held on basis of in-hospital and out-hospital scenarios of patients in the state of threat to life, both for adults and children, under conditions that were maximally approached to the real ones.

Our team, consisting of Hryhorii Petruk, 6th course (medical faculty No 1), Karyna Chvanova, 4th course (medical faculty No 1), Nataliia Serheieva, 6th course (medical faculty No 1), Nataliia Hazdiuk, 6th course (medical faculty No 1), Mykhailo Pomeranskyi, 6th course (medical faculty No 2), showed the high level in training and took the 4th place in total contest, having left behind 2/3 teams from Poland and Ukraine.

The participation of students in the contest happened thanks to initiative from professor Yurii Kuchyn and under support of university administration. We express the separate gratitude to the teachers at “Training Center” in Institute of Postgraduate Education of O.O. Bogomolets NMU: Mykhailo Omelchuk and Ihor Sirenko, trained the students to contests. The organizers of contest separately mentioned the potential and high level in training of our students.

Institute of Postgraduate Education
