THE PARTICIPATION OF EMPLOYEES FROM SRI ECM AT NMU IN EVENT AS TO QUALITY PROVISION FOR CLINICAL LABORATORY RESEARCHES IN UKRAINE

The problem of quality for laboratory researches in clinical practice remains to be urgent. One of the events in professional testing of quality in work of medical laboratories in the country is “Program of ICR” Interlaboratory Comparisons of Results, implemented by Ukrainian Reference Center with clinical laboratory diagnostics and metrology. The researches are made on materials, manufactured by industrial producers in Europe and in the USA. The technical examination is held by SE “Ukrmetrteststandart” with further analysis of data by leading scientific specialists. The participation in the event is voluntary but the results, received by each laboratory, give the serious push to the analysis of mistakes, ways for modernization of analytical systems, improvement of management systems at laboratory, generalization of acquired experience, etc.

The annual VI Scientific Practical Conference with international participation “Development of quality provision system for clinical laboratory researches in Ukraine, which gathered over 480 specialists from medical laboratories with different subordinations, was held on 13-14, March, 2018 in order to discuss those issues. The employees from Scientific Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at O.O. Bogomolets University took an active part in work of the conference.

Professor Larysa Natrus – director in SRI ECM, expert of MHC in issues of laboratory medicine, who is the Vice-president in Association of Quality Provision For Laboratory Medicine, made the grounded analytical report about analysis of ICR programs for 2007-2017. The employees from Laboratory Diagnostic Center at SRI ECM at the head with Iryna Ryzhko – head at laboratory took part in work of sections and master classes.
