THE CONTESTS OF STUDENTS’ SCIENTIFIC WORKS IN SPECIALTY “PREVENTIVE MEDICINE” IN MEDICINE TOOK PLACE
The scientific practical conference in the 2nd tournament of all-Ukrainian contest of students’ scientific works in English in specialty “Preventive medicine” took place on 29, March at O.O. Bogomolets NMU. 11 reporters from 4 medical higher schools took part in scientific students’ event. The departmental contest commission at the head with pro-rector in scientific activity, professor T.M. Cherenko and its deputy – head at department of social medicine and public health, professor T.S. Hruzeva, selected the best creative works by future doctors and recommended them for defense. This is the first students’ English speaking conference, when the reports, questions and the discussion were in English. The jury, which included the leading teachers and scientists, assessed the urgency, practical significance and independence of performed researches in the field of preventive medicine. They also took into consideration the competency, activity and persuasiveness of reporters themselves, their abilities to answer the set questions in relation to chosen topics of researches. All presented works have the perspectives for continuation. The especially active discussions lasted while discussing the reports by Zhyvotovska Anastasiia on topic “Analysis of risk factors among the student youth at medical institutes” (SHS “Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy”) and Nevkhoroshev Yevhen Oleksandrovych on topic “The influence of digital devices on the psychoemotional state of the KNMU students” (Kharkiv National Medical University). All students received the certificate of participants in final conference and the gifts.
NMU were represented by three reporters. They are Violetta Dubovyk (medical faculty No 1), “Assessment of health care system and ways of its reformation by future specialists in the medical field”, scientific supervisor – professor T.S. Hruzeva, Mariia Honcharenko (medical faculty No 1), «Hygienic assessment of microelements and heavy metals content in the soil of N. region», scientific supervisor – assistant professor Blahaia A.V. and Lutsenko Anna (medical faculty No 1), “Hygienic assessment of nutritional status and lifestyle of patients with essential arterial hypertension”, scientific supervisor – assistant professor Vavrinevych O.P.
