MASTER CLASS “EMERGENCIES IN ONCOLOGY” TOOK PLACE

The master class “Emergencies in oncology”, which was held on the base of Simulation Study Center of O.O. Bogomolets NMU, took place on 1, February within IX International Seminar of Students and Young Scientists, devoted to World Cancer Day. 35 participants, including 11 foreign ones, were registered to the master class. The students and young doctors from different cities could learn the modern opportunities for study and training of practical skills that became available at our university.

The master class was held by assistant at department of surgery, anesthesiology and intensive care of postgraduate education at O.O. Bogomolets NMU, certified instructor of European Resuscitators’ Council Sirenko Ihor. The participants in master class could try their hands in training of such skills as closed-chest cardiac massage and artificial respiration using Ambu-bag, provision with venous access, examination of patient with variable vital signs, etc.

Simulation Study Center is unique for study of students in Ukraine, the master class was held at high level and caused to admiration at all participants in the IX International Seminar of Students and Young Scientists, devoted to World Cancer Day 2018, confirmed that this is one of the most large-scale youth oncological event in Ukraine.
