VISIT OF DELEGATION FROM THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER – BARCELONA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL (SPAIN) TO NMU

On July 5, 2017 representatives of the International Centre of Sant Joan de Déu – Barcelona Children’s Hospital (Spain) visited NMU. The delegation, which consisted of the Director of international service Antoni Arias Enrich, specialists of international service Farniera Botieva Fatima, Amen Gobernsdo Sarai, President of the Foundation “Help for children with cancer” Valentina Markevich, held a working meeting with Vice-Rector for International Relations, Research and Education, Professor Olesia Lynovytska and Head of the Department for International Cooperation Hanna Malunova.

In the course of the conversation the key priorities of activity between the NMU and Barcelona Children’s Hospital have been discussed, and also the possibilities and prospective areas of cooperation have been viewed.

University Hospital in Barcelona is one of the leading medical institutions in Europe for children and teenagers. Being the University Clinic, the hospital trains all the students of the University of Barcelona for pediatric specialties, as well as, gynecology and obstetrics.
Members of the delegation showed profound interest in developing programs with the joint students and teachers training at the hospital base.
