MALEFACTORS CONTINUE THE CYBER ATTACKS FOR NMU

The malefactors continue the mass cyber attacks to bank accounts, e-mails and phones of executives at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University.

Doctor of Medicine, professor, head at department of surgery No Volodymyr Myshalov told about it in comments to Ukrainian News.

In particular, he informed that during afternoon on 9, January his personal e-mail underwent to mass hacker attack by unknown persons. As well, according to the words by Myshalov, the attempts for illegal breaking of his personal electronic bank account were made.

“All that took place prior to the court sitting, where the case about protection of my honor and dignity as a scientist-medic and teacher, my wife – rector of NMU Kateryna Amosova and university in general is heard. Not reaching their previous purpose – to defame me personally and separated executives of higher school, cyber criminals decided to doubt the good name of O.O. Bogomolets medical university, which was formed during many tens years. I am sure they will not do it!” – emphasized the professor.

According to the words by Myshalov, he and his colleagues in university for a reason suspect some former employees of NMU in organization of cyber attacks to electronic systems, who due to their former lucrative deeds not only lost the trust of pedagogical collective and students but had to leave the famous higher school ignominiously.

Based on facts of last hacker attacks Doctor Volodymyr Myshalov once again had to address to law enforcement authorities. However, as the famous advocated, partner of Legal Firm “Hvozdii and Oberkovych” Anzhelika Sitsko, who is engaged in this case, declared in the interview to Ukrainian News, they do not see any proper reaction on the part of National Police of Ukraine.

“Our today’s appeal to Pecherskyi District Administration of National Police in c. Kyiv was not the first similar application to law enforcement authorities on misdeeds, which have place in relation to rector of NMU Kateryna Amosova, members of her family and executives of O.O. Bogomolets Medical University. We are aware that the investigation of offences of such kind is rather problematic. But the absence of any reaction on the part of law enforcement authorities is inadmissible”, – state advocate Sitsko.

According to her words, already in the nearest time the corresponding appeal will be prepared to the prosecutor of Kyiv with the demands to unite all appeals to the police from executives of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University about offenses, committed against them, into single procedure.

As Ukrainian News informed, on 22, December, 2017 the administration of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University appealed to the General Prosecutor of Ukraine, Chairman in Security Service of Ukraine and Minister of Internal Affairs with the request to protect against the terror on the part of the gang of cyber criminals that lasts for more than 4 months, and to which MIA and SSU refuse to react.
