COMPETITIONS IN SWIMMING: IV STUDENTS’ SPORTS GAMES AMONG HIGHER SCHOOLS IN C. KYIV

The competitions in swimming at IV Students’ sports games in c. Kyiv among higher schools took place on 15, April, 2016 in swimming pool of National university of physical education and sport of Ukraine and the combined team of O.O. Bohomolets NMU took an active part in them.

The program of competitions anticipated the distances of 50 m by all styles and relay swimming 4×50 m by free style and 4×50 m by complex swimming.

In relay swimming our students Khrystyna Koval (4^th course of medical faculty No 2), Kateryna Shadurska (2^nd course of medical faculty No 2), Valeriia Sokolyk (5^th course of medical faculty No 2), Tetiana Bondariuk (1^st course of medical faculty No 1), Yelena Ogol (1^st course of dental faculty) won the fourth places, yielding only to such famous sportsmen-competitors as teams of National university of physical education and sport of Ukraine, National technical university of Ukraine “KPI” and T. Shevchenko Kyiv national university.

We should also mention about significant contribution of the student of the 6^th course in medical faculty No 1 Vitaliy Koval, who got 49 scores to the team, into the treasury of team total for university team. We sincerely congratulate all swimmers – members in combined team of our university with the successful performance!
