Elmar Rzayev, project manager in Nakhichevan state university. E-mail: ndu@ndu.edu.az

Overview of Project Management Structure

The project will be coordinated via a ‘hub’ at the UoL, with a dedicated Project Manager appointed by UoL. The project will be assisted by a Risk Assessment Group (RAG) to oversee the implementation and completion of this project. Delivery of core-web resources for communication (e.g. Sharepoint) and a project website will also be delivered by the UoL hub.

A Project Coordinating & Implementing Team(PCIT) will be created from representatives of all thirteen members of the consortium. The PCIT will be supported by an International Advisory Board(IAB). The PCIT will hold regular review meetings to review work, coordinate tasks and direct future activities, and coordinate evaluation and dissemination.Steering groups will be established in each Eastern European Partner Country Medical School (PCMS) to steer and coach working groups, and subsume the role of the PCIT beyond the life of the project.

Three Working Groups (WG1, WG 2 & WG 3) will be created from Faculty and Student representatives from all 6 PCMS. Each of the six PCMS will contribute 9 members (6 Faculty, 3 students), and each WG will comprise of 18 members (12 Faculty, 6 students)
