The main parts of pharmacognosy are summerised in the manual. The general part contains a definition of terms, problems of pharmacognosy as a science and discipline, bases of procurement process of medicinal herbs and its commodity analysis.

The special part includes definition of main groups BAS, information about their structure and classification, physical-chemical properties, methods of research of pharmacological activity.

For students, teachers of higher educational pharmaceutical institutions and pharmaceutical faculties of higher medical institutions of 3-4 accreditation levels.

Описание: C:UsersТарасDesktopСайтВидавнича діяльність1 005.jpg The textbook includes information regarding anatomy, biomorphology, systematic affiliation of medicinal plants and fungi, raw materials which are used or may be used in future for the needs of medicine and pharmacy. It also includes the authors’ lectures on medical botany for students of pharmaceutical faculty, and also data from the scientific literature, which cover key aspects of the structural organization of plants, fungi and bacteria on cellular, tissue, organismic, population and ecosystem levels. The textbook explains the aspects of peculiarities of plants anatomy and morphology depending on their systematic facilities and environmental- coenotic growing conditions.

The materials are given in accordance with the typical program for medical botany and requirements of the credit-module system.

For students, teachers of higher educational pharmaceutical institutions and pharmaceutical faculties of higher medical institutions of 3-4 accreditation levels of full-time and part-time forms of study. The textbook can be used for practical work and medical botany exams.

Описание: C:UsersТарасDesktopСайтВидавнича діяльність1 006.jpg In the book we have generalized information about morpho-biological and ecological-phytocenosis characteristics, dissemination, natural resources conditions and use of 63 species of wild medicinal plant raw materials of Ukraine, we have analyzed determining factors, which influence on the condition and dynamics of the resources of studied species in the conditions of environmental transformation. In resource characterization contains data that shows that we must have limits to use of raw material of particular species, and there are data about status of protection of rare species of plants. There is a map for each plant, which reflectі the availability of resources of the species in some regions of Ukraine, in some cases -dissemination or region of potential resources. Ukrainian and Latin names of plants are given for the modern taxonomic nomenclature of organic. The book is illustrated by pictures and color photographs.

For owners and users of natural plant resources, specialists in the field of regulating of using, protection phitoresources of Ukraine, teachers of biological disciplines, scholars and general public of readers.

It was approved by the academic Council of N.G. Kholodnyi Institute of Botany NAS of Ukraine.
