Classes include theoretical meetings and clinical rounds. Theoretical meetings are devoted to the most topical issues of modern pediatrics and neonatology, discussing abstracts of students of some or another problem. Conferences and round tables are held. During clinical rounds students of the club focus their attention on the issues of differential diagnosis in complex clinical cases, drawing up a plan for further examination of the patient, discussing the results of laboratory-instrumental research methods, issues of clinical pharmacology. Much attention is paid to the issues of neonatology, cardiology and allergy of childhood.

Rounds in neonatal intensive care department provide students with an in-depth understanding of the issues of emergency care for children in critical conditions, facilitates the formation of their knowledge and skills in performing the necessary manipulations.

The students of the Club are active participants in student Olympiads, student scientific conferences of pediatrics. Participation in the student club has enabled many future scholars to receive a recommendation for further study in the magistracy, clinical residency, postgraduate study and facilitated their further scientific search.

So, student Sklyarenko Maria received 1st place in medical genetics at the 2nd stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2009), student Dakhno Olga – 3rd place at pediatrics at the 2nd stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2009), student Tsarik Vladislav – 1st place at the pediatrician All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2010), student Alekseychuk Sergiy – 1st place in pediatrics at the II stage of All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2011), student Vdovychenko Anton – 1st place in pediatrics at II stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2012), student Martinova Valeriya –2nd place in pediatrics on the 2nd stage the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2013), student Golinko Victoria – II place in pediatrics at the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2014), student Darchyk Yulia – II place in pediatrics at the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2015), student Shemetyk Irina – II place in Pediatrics at the Second Stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2016), student Korkh Liliia – 1st place in Pediatrics at the Stage II of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad (2019).
