POLOVA ZHANNA MYKOLAIVNA, Doctor Science (Pharmacy), Professor

General information.

Zhanna Polova, in 1996 graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy (Kharkiv) for the specialty «Pharmacy» and received qualification «Provisor».

From 1996 to 1997 – internship at the Institute of Advanced Training of Pharmacy Specialists of the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Academy, specialty «general pharmacist».

From 1996 to 2001 – postgraduate studying at the Department of Industrial Technology of Drugs of the National University of Pharmacy.

In 2001, she defended her thesis for the degree of РhD (Pharmacy) of the specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology and industrial pharmacy. The thesis topic is «Development of the composition and technology of therapeutic and prophylactic dental varnish».

Since 2006 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Drug Technology and Biopharmacy at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.

Since September 2010 she has been working at the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2014 she was awarded the title of Associate Professor.

From 2015 to 2017, she was responsible for the teaching and methodological work of the Department.

Since 2017 she was acting Head of Department.

In 2019, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor Science of Pharmacy of the specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology, organization of pharmaceutical business and forensic pharmacy. The thesis topic is «Theoretical and experimental justification of the composition and technology of antimicrobial medicines for veterinary use».

The main directions of scientific and practical work.

Scientific interests consist in the pharmaceutical development of active pharmaceutical ingredients of biotechnological, plant and nanotechnological origin for use in cosmetology, veterinary and human medicine.

 

Publications: 110 printed works, co-author of the monograph «Nanoscience, Nanobiology, Nanopharmacy», author of 2 monographs «Development of antimicrobial veterinary medicines in the antibiotic resistance era: the current state of the problem and prospects», «Implementation of GMP principles in the industrial production of veterinary medicines in Ukraine», 3 patents, 3 copyright certificates for the work.

 
HLUSHCHENKO OLENA MYKOLAIVNA, PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor

General information.

In 1999 graduated from the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Academy as Master of Pharmacy, in 1999–2000 completed a one-year medical internship at the Shupyk International Medical Academy as a general pharmacist, in 2015 completed internship in General Pharmacy.

In 2007 completed postgraduate studies while teaching at the National Medical University, specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology and organization of pharmaceutical business.

In 2009 defended a thesis «Scientific and methodological approaches to improving the system of prices and tariffs for medicines manufactured by pharmacies», specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology and organization of pharmaceutical business, under supervision of Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Nemchenko Alla.

Experience of practical work in the specialty is 6 years – inter-hospital pharmacy № 107 of the production association «Pharmatsia» in Mykolaiv, pharmacy № 4 of «Panaceya», «Valedus» in Kyiv.

2019 – passed the long-term qualification improvement of pedagogical / scientific-pedagogical employees of higher education institutions «Cloud Technologies», Bogomolets National Medical University.

2019 – passed the thematic improvement «The basic principles of the functioning of quality systems of pharmacy establishments», P.L. Shupyka NMAPO.

2021 – completed the University 4.0 courses. «Digital transformation», topic:  «Digital competence of a teacher», Republican Institute of Higher Education (Republic of Belarus).

2021 – passed the thematic improvement «Modern medicinal products based on active ingredients of natural origin», P.L. Shupyka National University of Health Care.

2021 – completed the internship «Methods and means of training future pharmacists: theory and practice of EU countries», Institute of Educational and Professional Development in Budapest (Hungary).

2022 – completed the internship «Modern approaches to medical education in the context of global challenges and digital transformation of medical education», International Center for Educational Technologies (ICET).

The main directions of scientific and practical work is «Development of composition and technology of drugs of extemporaneous manufacture».

In 2018-2019 conducted the practical research «Development of probiotics for the prevention and treatment of infectious-inflammatory diseases».

Publications: 115, including 1 textbook «Technology of powder production», 2016, 14 methodological recommendations, 41 scientific articles.

Public activity.

Аuthor of test questions for preparation for «Krok 2» and «Krok 3. Pharmacy», a member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy Bogomolets National Medical University, responsible for entering data into the EDPO and checking scientific texts for academic plagiarism by employees of the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial drug technology.

Awards.

In 2008 Glushchenko O.M. received a gratitude from the Mayor of Kyiv for her high professionalism and significant personal contribution to the development of health care.

 
KOZIKO NATALIIA OLEKSANDRIVNA, PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor

General information.

Koziko Nataiia Oleksandrivna graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy in 2000.

From 2000 to 2002 – senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy, Drug Technology and Pharmacognosy at the  Bogomolets National Medical University.

From 2003 to 2016 – assistant of the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs. Since 2016 – Associate Professor.

In 2010 she defended her dissertation on the topic «Development of the composition and technology of therapeutic and preventive drug in the form of capsules based on Shiitake mushrooms» and received the degree of Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences in specialty 15.00.01 – drug technology and organization of pharmaceutical business.

 

The main directions of scientific and practical work.

A priority area of research is the development of the composition and technology of medicines and cosmetics with various active pharmaceutical ingredients of natural origin based on biotechnology.

 

Publications: more than 82 printed works, 5 patents, 6 specifications.

Responsible for the scientific work of the Department.

NEHODA TETIANA STEPANIVNA, PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor

General information.

Nehoda Tetiana graduated in 2005 from Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2012 she defended her dissertation on the topic: «Complex marketing researches of the market of drugs for the treatment of hypertension».

Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences (since 2012), Associate Professor (since 2018).

 

The main directions of scientific and practical work.

– Study and substantiation at the legislative level of Ukraine of ways of optimization of pharmacotherapy of hypertension.

– Development of an algorithm for complex clinical and economic evaluation of long-term therapy for hypertension.

 

Publications: more than 60 works, including a textbook for students of the 1st year of the Pharmaceutical faculty in the discipline «Introduction to pharmacy» and methodical recommendations.

 

Public activity.

Since 2013 – has acted as the University Curator for the implementation of the Credit Transfer System (ECTS) of the NMU.

Since September 2015 – Deputy Head of the teaching and methodical Department in combination.

From 2019 – Deputy Head of the Department.

SHUMEIKO MYKOLA VOLODYMYROVYCH, PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor

General information.

Shumeiko Mykola graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2002.

The internship was held at the pharmacy № 17 of the KP «Pharmacy» and the Kyiv Shupyk Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, which he graduated in 2003. He confirmed his specialization in 2008, 2013 and 2018 at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy.

In 2017, he passed the pre-certification cycle in the specialty «Organization and Management of Pharmacy» and received the «Higher qualification category» (previously received the «First» and «Second»). In 2018, he received the «Second» qualification category in the specialty «General Pharmacy».

In 2019, he completed an internship in Healthcare management in Warsaw, Poland.

Dissertation topic: «Development and research of properties of Livarex suppositories».

 

The main directions of scientific and practical work.

Development of modern means of counteracting intoxication; development of modern sorption products; development of anticancer therapy; development of urological prophylactic and therapeutic agents of urological diseases of different etiology; methods of disposal of toxic medicines and veterinary products and products of farming and other activities.

Butkevych Tetiana Anatoliivna, PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Assistant.

 

General information.

Graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2012.

2012-2013 – studied in an internship «General Pharmacy» at the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs of Bogomolets National Medical University.

2012-2013 – studied for a master’s degree at the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs of Bogomolets National Medical University.

Since 2013 – works at the department as an assistant.

In 2020 defended a thesis « Development of composition, technology and study of tablets with Flammulina velutipes biomass dry powder» for the degree of Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences (comparable to the Academic Degree of Doctor of Philosophy) on specialty 15.00.01 – Drug technology, Organization of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Court.

2017 – completed advanced training courses on «Training of candidates for auditors (technical experts) to assess the conformity of perfumes and cosmetics» on the basis of a separate structural unit «Institute for Professional Development in Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy» Odessa State Academy of Technical Regulation and Quality.

2021 – completed a scientific and pedagogical internship «Methods and means of training future pharmacists: theory and practice of EU countries», Hungary.

Research interests include the pharmaceutical development of drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics based on active pharmaceutical ingredients of biotechnological and plant origin.

Butkevych T. is the author and co-author of  more than 60 scientific publications, 1 utility model patent. H- Index (Google Scholar) = 2. The English level – B2 (Сertificate of Cambridge Assessment English Exam (Council of Europe Level B2) in European Socio-Technical University, Warsaw) .

 

Public activity.

2013-2016 – secretary of methodical meetings of the Department of Pharmacy and Industrial Technology of Drugs.

2015-2016 – an ECTS curator for the introduction of a credit transfer system for full-time students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

 

 

KRYVOTSUIK MARIIA YURIIVNA, laboratory assistant

General information.

In 2005 – graduated from the Khmelnytskyi Humanities and Pedagogical Academy, received a diploma of specialist in the specialty teacher of junior classes.

She worked as a methodologist at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Emergencies in Kyiv.

Since 2009 – laboratory assistant of the Department.

From 2018 – student of correspondence Department of NMU.

 

Public activity.

Responsible for technical support of the Department’s documentation, lectures and practical classes, preparation of materials and technical assistance in the Department’s reports.

Participates in the student’s Department chair.
