News of the department
May 25th, 2017 – the meeting of representatives of the postgraduate departments of therapy and family medicine from all around Ukraine was carried out at the base of the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of Postgraduate Education. Urgent problems of methodological and clinical support of the educational process were discussed throughout the meeting. Clinical bases of the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of Postgraduate Education were presented. Attendees were introduced to the project of the individual plan and working program for residents of the speciality “Internal Diseases”.
March 10th, 2017 – scientific-practical conference „Kidney diseases and obesity” dedicated to world kidney day WKD 2017
02.03-03.03.2017 – medical interns of the second year of study attended All-Ukrainian Congress “Art of treatment”
March 2nd, 2017- medical interns of the second year of study attended the scientific-practical conference “Higher medical education – modern challenges and perspectives”.
From May 15 to May 20, 2017, the staff of the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of Postgraduate Education conducted a cycle of thematic improvement named “Edema syndrome. Modern diagnostics and treatment” on the basis of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. 11 students learned the modern diagnostic and treatment algorithms in patients with edema syndrome and received certificates which confirm the high level of their acquired competencies.
From April 10, 2007, to April 15, 2017, a cycle of thematic improvement “Fever Syndrome in Clinical Practice” was conducted at the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of Postgraduate Education on the basis of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
On the basis of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine a cycle of thematic improvement for doctors named “Hematologic syndromes in the clinical practice of internists” continues.
On January 23-27, 2017, at the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of Postgraduate Education of the Bogomolets National Medical University, the first cycle of thematic improvement for internists “Gluten-Sensitive Pathology: Diagnosis and Treatment” was conducted on the basis of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
December 22nd, 2016 – Open Doors day – the head of the Department presented the Department and its clinical bases to the audience.
October 5th, 2016 – the head of the Department Olena Gubska presented a lecture “Celiac Disease, gluten intolerance without celiac disease” at the Gastroenterology section of Kyiv Evidence Week.
September 2nd, 2016 – annual entrance conference with the greeting of incoming medical interns took place.
