Tutchenko Mykola
In 1972 he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute. The student of O.O. Shalimov, V.F. Saenko. He worked as a surgeon at the Irpin Central District Hospital of Kyiv Region. Since 1976 he has been a doctor and then a researcher, and since 1986 he has been a senior researcher at the Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery. In 1982 he defended the clinical-experimental dissertation of the candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Surgical treatment of postoperative alkaline reflex gastritis”. Since 1987 – Associate Professor of Thoracic and Abdominal Surgery, Kyiv Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians. In 1992 he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Treatment of complicated duodenal ulcer with the restoration of the function of pyloric sphincter.” Since 1995 – Professor of Ambulance and Emergency Care of the same institution.
From 1995- head of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty. In 2007 he received the title of “Honored Doctor of Ukraine”, is a member of the European Association of Surgeons.
Author of more than 16 scientific works, including 5 monographs and about 30 inventions on surgical gastroenterology and hepatology. Scientific directions are surgical correction of complicated forms of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum with the use of laparoscopic technologies, treatment of patients with terminal liver disease. Developer of methods for diagnosis and treatment of patients with irreversible liver disease. He was the first in Kyiv in 2000 who performed a cadaveric liver transplant to a patient with liver cirrhosis. Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 12 candidate dissertations were completed.
Piotrovych Serhiy – PhD, Associate Professor
Graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1984. He worked as a surgeon at the Vyshhorod Central Regional Hospital. From 1989 to 1991 studied in a special clinical residency at the Ukrainian State Medical University. He worked as a surgeon at the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №15. Since 1993 assistant of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty. In 1998 he defended his dissertation on the topic: “Optimization of the choice of method of plastic closure of the hernia defect in the treatment of large postoperative abdominal hernias.” Developer of methods of surgical treatment of patients with abdominal hernias.
Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of Surgeons – Herniologists.
Author: 102 scientific papers, including 6 patents for inventions.
Vasylchuk Oleksandr PhD, Assistant, responsible for the scientific work of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty.
Author (co-author): 41 articles in scientific journals, 3 patents for inventions, 12 rational proposals.
Yaroshuk Dmytro PhD, Associate Professor, responsible for teaching English-speaking students of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty.
Graduated from the National Medical University in 1997. In 2015 he defended his dissertation on the topic: “Laparoscopic organ-sparing operations in the structure of surgical correction of duodenal ulcer complicated by perforation.”
Rudyk Diana PhD, Associate Professor, Secretary and Trade Union of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty.
Graduated from the medical faculty of Bogomolets NMU in 1999. From 2000 to 2001- internship at the Bogomolets National Medical University, Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty. From 2005 to 2007-clinical residency at the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty of Bogomolets NMU. In 2012 she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Minimally invasive correction of complications of portal hypertension syndrome in patients with liver cirrhosis.”
Since 2008 she has worked as an assistant at the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty. Since September 2018 he has been working as an associate professor of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty. Co-author of the monograph “Diagnosis and treatment of portal hypertension syndrome”, 33 scientific papers and 7 patents of Ukraine for a utility model.
Besedinsky Mykola – assistant, responsible for the medical work of the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty.
Graduated from Bukovynian State Medical University in 2014. In 2016 he received a certificate of a specialist in “Emergency Medicine”. From 2018 to 2019 he passed specialization and received a certificate of a specialist in “Surgery”. Since 2019 he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty.
El-Kafarna Hassan is a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty.
Graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2019. Studied in an internship at the Department of Surgery, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care.
Chub Serhiy, laboratory assistant at the Department of Surgery of the Dental Faculty of the Dental Faculty.
Graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2010. From 2012 to 2015, a master’s degree at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy in the specialty “General practice – family medicine. In 2017 he passed the specialization and received a certificate of a specialist in the specialty “Surgery”.
