Dmytro Govsieiev (D.O. Govsieiev) – Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology #1, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honorable Doctor of Ukraine, MD (highest qualification category), member of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv, director of the Kyiv City Maternity Hospital №5.

Graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1985. In 2020 defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Recurrent obstetric and perinatal pathology (preeclampsia, placental dysfunction and gestational anemia), diagnosis, prevention and prognosis”. From 01.07.1995 to 01.07.2000 worked at the Medical Institute of the Ukrainian Association of Folk Medicine as an assistant professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. From 01.09.2015 to 26.06.2018 worked in Bogomolets NMU on the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Postgraduate Education. From 13.09.2018 to 01.05.2021 worked as an associate professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases with the course of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the course of Pediatrics and Children’s Infectious Diseases at the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine. From 12.05 to 25.06.2021 and from 16.09.2021 to the present – works in Bogomolets NMU as a part-time Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Postgraduate Education. Total teaching experience is 11 years, has a higher medical qualification category. From April 1997 to March 1998 worked as the Head of the Department of Pregnant Women Pathology at Maternity Hospital №5. From March 1998 to January 2019, worked as the deputy Chief Physician of the medical department of the Kyiv City Maternity Hospital №5. From January 2019 to February 2020 worked as the Chief Physician of Kyiv City Maternity Hospital №5. From February 2020 to present – works as the Director of Kyiv City Maternity Hospital №5. Member of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv. In 2004 was awarded with the title of Honored Doctor of Ukraine. Medical experience – 39 years. Dmytro Govsieiev is the author and co-author of 138 printed works, 2 training manuals, 11 utility model patents, awarded with the State Prize in 2022. From 2020 to the present works at the Bogomolets National Medical University as the Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Postgraduate Education on a part-time basis. Borys Ventskivskyi (B.M.Ventskivskyi) – Doctor Of Medical Sciences, Professor, Сorrespondent Member of National Medical Sciences Academy of Ukraine.

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets in 1965. In 1970 entered clinical residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 of Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute. In 1975 defended his candidate’s thesis “The level of fetal hypoxia according to the parameters of amniotic fluid”, and in 1984 – defended his doctoral thesis “Clinical significance of hemocirculatory, coagulation and metabolic disorders and ways of their correction in late toxicosis of pregnancy”. In 1998 was awarded with the title “Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine”. Under his supervision more than 35 candidate theses and 10 doctoral theses were completed. Scientific interests include the pathogenesis and prevention of miscarriage, placental dysfunction, preeclampsia, treatment of benign tumors of the uterus and ovaries, endometriosis. Implementation in clinical practice – methods of prevention of preeclampsia, miscarriage, prevention of cesarean section complications, improved methods of laparoscopic treatment of benign ovarian tumors, endometriosis have been tested and implemented. He is the author of 435 scientific publications, co-author of 15 textbooks, 7 scientific manuals and 5 methodological recommendations. He is a member of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine, the World Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Since 2003, he has been a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. For 18 years (1986-2005) – the chief obstetrician-gynecologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, from 1996-2011 – the president of the association of obstetrician-gynecologists of Ukraine. In 2002, he was awarded the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, 5th degree, he was awarded certificates of honor from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the mayor of Kyiv, he has awards from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. He teaches the discipline “obstetrics and gynecology” for students of 4, 5, 6 courses of medical faculties.

 

Iryna Ventskivska (I.B.Ventskivska) – Doctor Of Medical Sciences, Professor

 Graduated from Kyiv State Medical University in 1987. From 1987 to 1989, she studied at an internship in the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology” at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Kyiv State Medical Institute. In 2000, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic “Features of pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of infertility in genital endometriosis”. In 2006, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic “Premenstrual syndrome – clinic, diagnosis and treatment”. Under his supervision, 11 candidate theses and 1 doctoral theses were completed. Research interests include the pathogenesis and prevention of miscarriage, placental dysfunction, preeclampsia, benign uterine tumors, and early cessation of menstrual function. Implementation in clinical practice – at the level of the Perinatal Center of Kyiv, a method of neuroprotection of an extremely premature fetus was tested and implemented. Author of 146 scientific publications, co-author of 5 textbooks, 2 scientific manuals and 2 methodological recommendations. He is a member of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine. She was awarded an honorary certificate of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and an honorary certificate of the KMDA. Volodymyr Lakatosh (V.P.Lakatosh) – Doctor Of Medical Sciences, Professor

In 1991, he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets 1991 to 1993, he studied at a clinical residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets From 1993 to 1995, he studied at the graduate school of the same department. In 1995, he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Comparative evaluation of methods of treatment of genital warts in women.” In 2001, he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Modern approach to diagnosis and treatment, forecasting of cervical diseases associated with papilloma virus infection.” From 1995 to 2001, he worked at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets as an assistant, from 2001 to 2005 an associate professor of the same department. From 2005 to the present, he is a professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Bogomolets State Medical University, the head of the department’s clinical base at the Perinatal Center of Kyiv. During his work, he trained 9 candidates of medical sciences and one doctoral student. Scientific interests: placenta previa, methods of preventing bleeding in placenta previa. 29 years of medical experience. Valentyna Tovstanovska (V.O. Tovstanovska) – Doctor Of Medical Sciences, Professor

She graduated from the medical faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute (1976). She worked as a pediatric obstetrician-gynecologist at the PAG Research Institute (1976-1979). Clinical resident (1979-1981), assistant (1981-1991), associate professor (1991-1999), doctor of medical sciences (1994), from 2000 to the present – professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets The topic of the doctoral dissertation: “Clinical and laboratory characteristics, prognosis, treatment and prevention of fetal growth retardation syndrome.” Author of more than 300 scientific works, 8 textbooks, 18 patents, 42 methodological recommendations. Prepared 5 candidates of medical sciences, 4 masters of medicine. Awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2007) and the Kyiv City State Administration (2012), a member of the editorial board of 3 modern specialized domestic medical journals. Oleksandra Zahorodnya (O.S. Zahorodnya)  – Doctor Of Medical Sciences, Professor

In 2003, she graduated from the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets In 2005-2008, she studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets, in 2008 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences “New aspects of the pathogenesis and prediction of premature detachment of the normally located placenta”, in 2016 she defended her thesis for the degree of doctor of medical sciences “Premature childbirth – pathogenesis, prediction and prevention of perinatal losses”. In 2014, she completed an internship at the “ALFA” Family Medicine Clinic (Minnesota, Minneapolis), in 2019 at the Medical University of Warsaw and the Inflancka Specialized Clinic (Warsaw, Poland). Research interests include the pathogenesis and prevention of miscarriage, placental dysfunction, preeclampsia, early cessation of menstrual function, and female pelvic floor pathology. At the level of the Perinatal Center of Kyiv, a method of neuroprotection of an extremely premature fetus and a method of treating hypotonic postpartum bleeding have been tested and implemented. He is the author of 113 scientific publications, co-author of 5 textbooks, 2 scientific manuals and 1 methodological recommendations. Hirsch index – 6. He is a member of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine and the Mediterranean Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Society. Serhiy Avramenko (S.O.Avramenko) – Candidate Of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

In 1981, he graduated from the medical faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets From 1986 to 1989, he studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Kyiv Medical Institute. In 1989, he defended his candidate’s thesis for obtaining the scientific degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Effectiveness of complex treatment of preeclampsia taking into account the correction of lipid peroxidation”. In 1989, he started working as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets. From June 2002 to the present, he works as an associate professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of NMU. Author of more than 67 scientific works. Nataliya Bondarenko (N.P. Bondarenko) – Doctor Of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

In 1991, she graduated from the Chernivtsi Medical Institute. From 1994 to 1999 worked as a doctor, obstetrician-gynecologist in maternity hospital No. 7 in Kyiv. From 1999 to 2004, she held the position of the head of the obstetrics department of maternity hospital No. 5. Since 2004, she has been an employee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of O.O. Bogomolets In 2005, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences: “Complex treatment of pregnant women with early gestosis burdened by iron-deficiency anemia with the use of Myrhorodskaya mineral water and normobaric hypoxotherapy.” 14.01.33. – medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy and spa treatment. In 2020, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences Diagnosis, treatment, prevention and prediction of perinatal complications of B19 parvovirus infection in pregnant women. 14.01.01.- obstetrics and gynecology. Tetyana Tsapenko (T.V.Tsapenko) – Candidate Of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

Tetiana Tsapenko graduated with honors from the National Medical University, Faculty of Medicine №2 in 1996, and was recommended for scientific work. From 1996 to 1999 completed her master’s degree and internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 of Bogomolets NMU. Received a master’s degree in medicine with honors. In 2003 successfully defended her candidate’s thesis “Prevention of complications during pregnancy and childbirth in women with dietary and constitutional obesity” from the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology”, which she completed at the department under the supervision of Professor B.M. Ventskivskyi. During the years of study at the graduate school, she performed a large amount of clinical work with high operative activity. From 2000 to 2006, she worked as a resident doctor at Clinical Maternity Hospital № 5 in Kyiv. From 2006 to the present, he works at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology № 1 of O.O. Bogomolets. Conducts classes in obstetrics and gynecology in the 4th, 5th and 6th courses. Has a higher qualification category of a doctor in the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology”. He is the author of 55 scientific works, including articles in scientific publications cited in SCOPUS and Web Of Science. Co-author of 4 textbooks and 2 training manuals. Member of the public organization “Association of Obstetricians-Gynecologists of Ukraine”.

Olga Burka (O.A.Burka) Candidate Of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

In 1995, Burka Olga Anatoliivna graduated with honors from the Ukrainian State Medical University named after Acad. O.O. Bogomoletsa, II medical faculty. From November 1, 1995 to October 31, 1998, she studied at the internship and master’s degree in obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Kyiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. From 1.12.1998 to 30.11.2001, she studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of NMU named after O.O. Bogomolets In 2002, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic: “Features of reproductive health and possible ways of its correction after unilateral ovariectomy or adnexectomy.” From 2001 to 2018, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 at the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets, since December 1, 2018, he has been working as an associate professor of the department. The academic title of associate professor was awarded in October 2019. Field of scientific interests: gynecological endocrinology, inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, pathology of the endometrium, cervix. Total teaching experience is 22 years. Yaroslav Vitovsky (Y.M. Vitovsky) – Candidate Of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

In 1985, he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomoletsa From 1985 to 1997, he worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at Clinical Hospital No. 22 in Kyiv. Since 1992, for six years, he worked part-time as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of NMU with hourly pay. From 1997 to 1998, he held the position of deputy chief physician of the Kyiv Regional Center for the Protection of Mother and Child Health. In 1982, he graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute. He worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 2, from 1989 to 1995 he was the head of the obstetric observation department of this hospital. In 1994, she graduated from the Ukrainian State Medical University named after Academician O.O. Bogomolets Since 1997, she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in maternity hospital No. 7 in Kyiv. In 2002, she entered postgraduate studies at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets Since 2008, he has been an employee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Received Master’s degree with honours in 2018, thesis of the Master’s research: “Microbal diversity in miscarriage of pregnancy at different gestational periods.” In 2023 defended PhD thesis «New aspects of preterm labour pathogenesis on the background of placental violations». Co-author of 8 printed works and 2 patents of Ukraine for inventions. The direction of scientific and practical work concerns the problem of miscarriage, in particular premature birth, placental dysfunction.
