Publishing activity

Material support of educational process was always in the centre of attention of the Department. For the purpose of satisfaction the students’ needs in the process of their studying, Department tried to make more active their cognitive activity as much as possible. First of all, we have prepared more than 30 textbooks. Some of them we called for fun the series “today for tomorrow”. But the special pride of the Department are our textbooks:

The department of endocrinology highly recommended using

26 coauthors from 5 highest medical educational institutions and 3 Institutes of NAMS of Ukraine took part in its preparation. First of all it was our Bogomolets National Medical University, Bukovina State and Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical Universities, Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, National Medical Academy of postgraduate education named after P. L. Shupyk, scientists from Kyiv University of Endocrinology and Metabolism named after V.P. Komisarenko, University of Gerontology named after D. F. Chebotaryov, University of Neurosurgery named after A. P. Romadanov of National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine .
Among the authors of the textbook are 2 academicians of National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine, 10 corresponding members of National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine, National Academy of Science of Ukraine, National Academy of Pedagogical Science of Ukraine, 3 social academicians of National Academy of High Education,15 honorary doctors, lecturers, scientists, 11 winners of State and honorary prizes, 7 presidents of medical associations.
The foreword for the textbook written by academician of NAMS of Ukraine, rector of Bogomolets National Medical University Moskalenko. For the second edition of the textbook foreword is written by academician of NAMS of Ukraine, academician of NAS of Ukraine and academician of NAMS of Russia, A.S. Efymov. Rewievers of the textbook are academician of NAMS of Ukraine, rector of Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, prof. V.G. Dzzyak, academician of NAMS of Ukraine and corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine, director of Kyiv University of Endocrinology and Metabolism named after V.P. Komisarenko, M.D.Tronko, the Head of the Department of Dndocrinology at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, prof. V.G. Botsiurko.
In our textbook we describe all endocrine diseases, diabetes mellitus and diseases of thyroid gland in details. The textbook is illustrated with our own and others figures, tables and paintings. The authors’ team received the prize of the NAMS of Ukraine for the textbook “Endocrinology (in Russian)” and prize of V.P. Komisarenko of NAS of Ukraine for the studies «The History of development of endocrinology in Ukraine». An interdepartmental meeting of heads of Department (courses) of endocrinology medical universities and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine recognized that the textbook has the national and state status. Our textbook is well –known among the students and young doctors. Now we are preparing our textbook in English for publication.
I recommend this textbook for studying endocrinology, because it created according to contemporary requirements and the best international standards.
