Bezrodnyi Borys Gavrylovich, born 1950, graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1972, in 1979 – clinical residency at the Department of Hospital Surgery of NMU, surgeon of the highest category, Doctor of Medical Sciences (1995), Professor (2005). Topic of the doctoral dissertation “Surgical treatment of patients with pancreatic cancer and Major duodenum Papilla”, Head of the Department of Surgery # 2 since 2006.

The main directions of scientific activity are the development of issues of surgical treatment of diseases of organs of hepatopancreatoduodenal zone, surgical treatment of patients with mechanical jaundice, peptic ulcer, chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, transplantation of stem cells in surgery, surgery.

  1. Introduction to clinical practice
  • Scientific developments have been introduced into the medical practice of surgical departments of Kyiv and Kyiv region, Zhytomyr and Zhytomyr region, Chernihiv and Chernihiv region, and have been included in the lecture courses and curricula of the Surgery Department No. 2 of the O.O. Monitor for students of 4-6 courses, surgeons-interns, clinical residencies and graduate students. The developments are included in the “List of scientific (scientific and technical) products intended for implementation of medical science achievements in the field of health care”.

Korotkyyt Valery M. (born.01.07.1937) – MD (1984), Professor (1986), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine. Graduated from Chernivtsi Medical Institute (1961). In 1983 he defended his doctoral thesis on “Pathogenetic substantiation of surgical treatment of portal hypertension syndrome.” He is an author of 411 scientific papers, 67 author certificates and state patents of Ukraine. The main research areas are surgical gastroenterology, particular surgery of liver diseases, biliary tracts, pancreas, stomach, intestine, portal hypertension.

Cherpak Boris Davidovich (b.09.01.1941) – MD (1989), Professor (1992). Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1970). In 1989 he defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Treatment of postoperative obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract.” He is an author of 81 scientific papers, 1 State Patent of Ukraine. Engaged in the study on treatment of thyroid diseases.

Furmanenko Mykola F. (1936 born) – PhD (1968), associate professor (1981).Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1960). In 1968 he defended his thesis on “The content of iron, copper, zinc and cobalt in patients with goiter.” He is an author of 71 scientific papers, 1 State Patent of Ukraine. Engaged in the study of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.

Cartashov Boris Tikhonovich (born08.07.1951) – PhD (1984), associate professor (2000). Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1978). In 1983 he defended his thesis on “Radiology and nuclear diagnosis of calculous cholecystitis and its surgical treatment.” He is an author of 50 scientific papers, 3 state patents of Ukraine. Engaged in the study of hepatobiliary surgery.

Kolosovych Igor, 2born 5.04.1966, in 1989 graduated with honors from Kyiv Medical Institute named after academician.O.O. Bohomolets. In 2003 he defended his doctoral thesis on “Pathogenetic treatment of gastric ulcer.” Laureate of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for young scientists in the field of medicine (2000), associate professor (2006). Author of 200 publications, including textbooks “Emergency medical care”, “Surgical treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer”, 32 patents for invention and important model. Scientific and surgical areas – Mini-invasive Organ-preserving surgery of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, traumatic splenic cysts.

Ivanov Mykola A. (b.18.10.1955) – PhD (1986), associate professor (1998). Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1979). In 1986 he defended his thesis entitled “Comparison of methods of surgical treatment of lactation mastitis.” He is an author of 42 scientific papers, 2 state patents of Ukraine. Engaged in the study of general and hepatobiliary surgery.
Kopyov Yuri (born05.23.1950) – PhD (1984), associate professor (1990). Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1973). In 1981 he defended his thesis on “Surgical treatment of complicated forms of acute cholecystitis.” He is an author of 108 scientific papers, 6 state patents of Ukraine. Engaged in the study of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
Teplyy Valery V.. Date of birth 08/05/58. Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from 1988 Assistant Department since 1988 In 1988 he defended his thesis: “Comparative evaluation of methods of gastroesophageal collateral venous blood flow termination in the treatment of bleeeding from digestive tract in the case of hypertension syndrome.” Author of more than 50 scientific papers, 8 patents. Engaged with the issues of improving the results of surgical correction of aesthetic defects of the body, metabolic consequences of aesthetic operations, and other aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery.

He has undergone a clinical residency in the speciality “Surgery” at the Kyiv Research Institute for Clinical and Experimental Surgery (now the Research Institute for Surgery and Transplantology). In 1988 under the supervision of acad. O.O. Shalimov he defended the thesis for PhD Degree: “Comparative estimation of methods of gastroesophageal collateral venous blood flow interruption in treatment of bleedings due to portal hypertension syndrome”.

In 2013 he defended the thesis on the doctor of medical science degree on the topic: “Surgical correction of the trunk cosmetic defects with restoration of aesthetic, functional and metabolic parameters”.

In 2004 he attended the 5th Heidelberg Symposium Live-Operation-Course for Plastic surgery.

In the period from 17.01.2018 to 26.01.2018 he completed practical training at the Second Department and Clinic of General and Oncological Surgery of Wroclaw Medical University

He took part in Seminar on Health care management in Pullach, Germany in October 2019.

Scientific interests: aesthetic surgery, minimally invasive abdominal surgery, phlebology, herniology.

 

Teplyi V. has fifteen inventions. Published 134 scientific works, including 12 in the Journals that are indexed by Scopus. He is co-author of 11 manuals in surgery for the 4-6 years students and 1 monography: Bezrodnyi B., Teplyi V., Kolosovych A. Diagnostic and treatment of intra-abdominal hypertension in patients with surgical pathology of abdominal organs. Kyiv: Valrus Dysain, 2017. – 144 p.

He is a Certified member of All Ukrainian association of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons (UAPRAS). Member of International Confederation of Plastic and Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS).

Principal directions of scientific and clinical work:

  • Correction of congenital and acquired cosmetic defects of trunk, face and extremities.
  • Surgical and conservative treatment of the scars.
  • Metabolic effects of liposuction and dermolipectomy.
  • Radiofrequency and laser ablation of benign neoplasms of skin, breast and thyroid gland.
  • Diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of intra-abdominal hypertension and abdominal compartment syndrome.
  • Laparoscopic surgery.
  • Phlebology: different methods of phlebectomy, endovenous laser ablation of the veins, CHIVA, telangiectasia’s and reticular veins microthermocoagulation.

He has been awarded the highest qualification category in surgery.

Martynovych Leonid Denisovich (born 08.06.1951) – PhD (1986), assistant (1986). Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute (1979). In 1986 he defended his thesis on “Urgent repeated surgery in treatment of early postoperative complications.” He is an author of 35 scientific papers, 6 state patents of Ukraine. Engaged in the study of purulent surgery.
Sidorenko Roman A. (born26.08.1975) – PhD (2006), assistant (2002). He graduated from Lugansk State Medical University (1998). In 2006 he defended his thesis on “Justification of surgical treatment of patients with chronic pancreatitis, which is aimed at preserving pancreatic function.” Author of 23 scientific papers, 8 declarative patents of Ukraine for inventions and important models. Engaged in the study of surgery of pancreatobiliary area and laparoscopic surgery, ultrasound diagnostics of pathology of the abdomen and veins of the lower extremities.

Tsyhanok Andrey M. (b.04.07.1978) – PhD (2007),Associate Professor, graduated from the National Medical University by O.O. Bogomolets, 2001.

From 2003 to 2006 he studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Hospital Surgery # 1 of the National Medical University by O.O. Bogomolets. In 2007 he defended his PhD thesis on “Minimally invasive surgery in patients with acute cholecystitis”. In January 2018, he completed an internship at Wroclaw Medical University at the Department of Surgery and Oncology # 2.

He is engaged in the study of laparoscopic surgery, ultrasound diagnostics of pathology of abdominal organs.

Author of 35 publications, 1 textbook, 12 guidelines, 15 patents

Moyseenko Anatoly Ivanovich (August 30, 1977), PhD (2008), Assistant Professor of Surgery Department № 2 (2007).

He graduated with honors from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2002. From 2002 to 2004 studied in internship and master’s degree in surgery at the Department of Hospital Surgery №1, Bogomolets National Medical University, from 2004 to 2007 studied in full-time postgraduate study at the same department. Since 2007 assistant of the Department of Surgery №2, Bogomolets National Medical University. Research Topic: “Diagnosis and surgical treatment of acute bowel obstruction”. Author of 47 published scientific works, 2 of them in foreign editions, 15 patents of Ukraine for inventions and utility models.  The priority direction of scientific and surgical activity – laparoscopic technologies in planned and urgent surgery. Member of the Association of Surgeons of Kyiv and the region.

Petrenko Oleg M. (b.11.07.1964) – PhD (2008), assistant (2009). He graduated from Vinnitsa Medical Institute named after M.I Pirogov (1993). In 2008 he defended his thesis on “Surgical treatment of varicose veins of the lower extremities complicated by chronic venous insufficiency and venous ulcers.” Author of 20 scientific publications, 4 state patents of Ukraine. Engaged in the study of vascular surgery.

Alexei Chibisov, born in 1981, graduated in 2004 from the Medical Faculty of Lugansk State Medical University. From August 2004 to June 2005 he took internship and master’s degree, which he graduated with honors, specializing in surgery at the Luhansk City Clinical Hospital № 4.

In 2009 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic: “Indications, nature of surgical interventions in patients with postoperative hernias of the anterior abdominal wall”.

From December 2014 she was elected to the position of assistant of the Department of Surgery №2 of the National Medical University, where he works now.

He has more than 40 publications in periodicals, 5 patents for inventions, and is the co-author of 4 manuals on surgery. Conducts extensive educational and methodological work; participates in writing methodological recommendations for the preparation of students, in the preparation of test tasks in the course of surgery for students of 4, 5 and 6 courses.

He is responsible for the department for medical practice of students of 4 courses in surgery.

He has the highest medical category in surgery. In 2015 he completed his second specialization in endoscopy. Constantly performs medical and consulting work on the basis of the department (1 surgical and endoscopic department of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №4). 16 years of professional experience, 5 years in endoscopy.

Hanol Igor V. (b.1.01 .1976) – PhD (2011), assistant (2010). He graduated from the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomelts (2000). On October 20 he defended his thesis on “Organ-preserving surgery for splenic trauma body.” Author of 9 scientific papers, 7 patents of Ukraine for public important model. Engaged in the study of organ surgery for spleen.
