Buryanov Oleksandr Anatoliyovych – Head of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Medical University named after OO Bogomolets, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Vice President of the Ukrainian Association of Orthopedists of Traumatologists.

Buryanov OA Born on July 19, 1960, he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1983.

From 1983 to 1984 he studied in an internship in “traumatology and orthopedics” at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Kyiv Medical Institute.

From 1984 to 1987 he worked as a researcher at the Kyiv Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in the Department of Burn Surgery.

From 1987 to 1990 he studied in full-time graduate school at the Kharkiv Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Professor MI Small. In 1989 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Diagnosis and treatment of post-traumatic neurodystrophic syndrome.” From 1990 to 1991 he worked as a researcher in the Department of Spine Pathology at the same institute.

From 1991 to 1993 he worked as a senior researcher at the Department of Spine Pathology with the Republican Spinal Center.

From 1993 he worked as an assistant and then associate professor of traumatology and orthopedics at the Ukrainian State Medical University named after OO Bogomolets.

In 1994 he was elected head of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Bogomolets Ukrainian State Medical University.

In 1998 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: “System of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine.” In 2000 he was awarded the academic title of Professor at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

OA Buryanov is a well-known scientist in Ukraine and abroad, a leading specialist in the field of reconstructive surgery of the musculoskeletal system. The results of his scientific development became the basis for the development of new methods and surgical technologies for the treatment of post-traumatic extremity dystrophy, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine, treatment of injuries and their consequences, trophic disorders in complicated spinal injuries.

Buryanov OA is the editor-in-chief of the scientific-practical journal “Chronicle of Traumatology and Orthopedics”, vice-president of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Association of Orthopedic Traumatologists”, member of the International Association of Orthopedic Traumatologists SICOT, member of the editorial boards of the Bulletin of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Orthopedics , traumatology and prosthetics “,” Pain, joints, spine “.

Zadnichenko MO, born on February 3, 1948, graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1982, later worked at the Kyiv Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics.

In 1989 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences and worked as the head of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the hospital “Lisova Polyana”.

Since 1992 – Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics and part-time assistant at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Medical Institute. OO Bogomolets. Since 1993 he has been an assistant professor at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics, and since 2003 he has been an associate professor of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics.

GREK Vasyl Petrovych – Assistant of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

Greek VP, born on September 15, 1951. In 1977 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute and was sent to work at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics as a senior laboratory assistant.

Since 1983 he has been an assistant at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Kyiv Medical Institute.

During his work as an assistant of the department Grek VP co-authored more than 68 scientific papers, he is a co-author of a textbook on traumatology and orthopedics for students of higher medical education, the National Textbook, as well as 3 monographs, guidelines.

For 10 years the Greek VP worked as the deputy dean of the medical faculty № 2 of the National Medical University named after OO Bogomolets.

З 2021 року працює на посаді професора кафедри травматології та ортопедії НМУ ім. О.О. Богомольця.

У практичній діяльності надає перевагу питанням діагностики та хірургічної корекції вроджених та набутих деформацій стопи, ортопедичної корекції розладів ходьби в пацієнтів зі спадковими нейропатіями.
