HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT

 

Shypulin Vadim, doctor of medical sciences, professor

 

Vadim Shypulin in 1992 graduated with honors from the Kyiv Medical Institute. Listed in the Golden Book of Honors of the Kyiv Medical Institute. From 1992 to 1994 he studied in clinical residency in the specialty “internal diseases” at the Department of Faculty Therapy # 1 of the Kyiv Medical Institute. In 1994-1997 he was a doctor of the therapeutic department of TMO of the Soviet district of Kyiv. In 1996 he defended his PhD thesis. Since 1997 he has worked as an assistant, and since 2000 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy # 1 NMU. In 2002 he was conferred the academic title of “Assistant Professor”. In June 2005 he was appointed Director of the National Museum of Medicine of Ukraine. In 2009 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Chronic diffuse liver diseases – multiple organ pathology: diagnosis, treatment, prognosis”. Since 2007 he has worked at the Department of Therapy of the Shupyk National Medical Academy (September 2012 – August 2014 – Professor). Since September 2014 – Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine # 2, Bogomolets NMU (0.25 cent.). In 2015 he was awarded the academic title of “Professor”. Honored Doctor of Ukraine (2007). He was awarded the diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, awarded with the Thanks of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Chairman of the KSCA, and church awards.

Scientific adviser of 5 PhD candidates in medicine, 1 doctoral`s candidate.

Experienced doctor and popularizer of science. Since 2005 he is a consultant physician of the State Affairs Department. He is the author of more than 100 scientific works, including monographs and a textbook. During 1998-2012 he was the Secretary of the Ukrainian Society of Therapists. Member of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. He is a member of the Presidium of the Association for the Study and Treatment of Digestive Diseases in Ukraine.

Chernyavskyi Volodymyr, doctor of medical sciences, professor

 

Graduated from the Bogomolets NMU in 2002. He completed his clinical residency at the Department of Faculty Therapy # 1 in 2005. In 2005 he defended his PhD thesis. In 2018 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Scientific and practical substantiation of non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in diseases of the esophagogastroduodenal zone, liver, pancreas and intestines”. He is the author and co-author of 116 scientific works; is a co-author of 5 utility model patents and 1 invention patent, 3 monographs and 13 student textbooks.

Member of the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility.

Gvozdecka Lesya, PhD, Associate Professor

 

Graduated from Bogomolets NMU in 2004. Graduated clinical residency at the Department of Internal Medicine № 1 in 2009. In 2011, she defended her Ph.D. thesis on “13C-Bicarbonate Breath Test in Diagnosis and treating patients with overweight and obesity”. Author and

co-author of 29 scientific papers, including 2 utility model patents and 5 tutorials for students.

Member of the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility.

 

 

 

 

Parunyan Luiza, PhD, Associate Professor

 

Graduated from Lugansk Medical Institute in 1991. She has passed internship on a specialty “therapy”. From 1996 to 1998 she studied in clinical residency at the Department of Therapy of Shupik NMAPE. Since 2002 she has worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Faculty Therapy # 1 of the Bogomolets NMU. In 2004, she defended her PhD thesis “Effectiveness of determination of fecal elastase 1 in the diagnosis of pancreatic insufficiency”. From 2004 to 2013 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Faculty Therapy # 1 (since 2008, Department of Internal Medicine # 1).

From 2013 to 2016, she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. In December 2016, she was transferred to the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine # 1.

She has the highest qualification category in therapy and gastroenterology, specialization in ultrasound diagnostics.

Author of 32 printed scientific works.

 

 

 

Morozova Zemfira, PhD, Associate Professor

 

In 1982 graduated with honors from Pirogov Vinnitsa Medical Institute.

From September 1993 worked as an assistant, and from 1998-2002 worked as an associate professor at the Department of Faculty Therapy # 1, Bogomolets NMU. Since 2002 Associate Professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy # 2. From 2005 to August 2017 Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine №3.

From the first of September 2017 she is an associate professor of the Department of Internal Medicine №1.

From 2010 to the present he has been acting Deputy Dean for Senior Students.

Since 1994 Candidate of Medical Sciences, since 2000 he holds the rank of Associate Professor, author of 57 printed scientific papers and inventions. Topic of the PhD thesis “Clinical features of the course of peptic ulcer in patients undergoing radiation exposure and the possibility of their correction”

He is a member of the Academic Council of the Medical Faculty # 1 of the Bogomolets NMU.

 

 

 

 

Mikhn`ova Natalia, PhD, Associate Professor

 

Mikhn`ova Natalia graduated from Bogomolets NMU in 1998 with honours. In the same year she entered the magistracy at the department of faculty therapy №1 of Bogomolets NMU, graduated with honors in 1999. After that she entered postgraduate study at the same department, and in 2004 she defended her thesis “The role and place of 13C-methacitin respiratory test in the diagnosis of chronic diffuse liver disease”. After defending her dissertation, she continued to work as an assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine # 1. And in 2011, she was promoted to associate professor and continued to work at the Department of Internal Medicine # 1.

Scientific and practical interests: gastrointestinal diseases, dietetics. Author and co-author of more than 30 publications, including publications indexed by Scopus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Karnabeda Oksana, PhD, Associate Professor

 

1986-1992 – Kyiv Medical Institute, Faculty of Medicine; 1998-2000 – Clinical residency at the Department of Hematology and Transfusion in the Kiev Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education; 2000-2003 – Postgraduate studies at the Department of Hematology and Transfusiology at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. At the Ajibadem Clinic in Istanbul (Turkey, March 2017).

Dissertation topic: «Clinico-hematological and immunophenotypic features in patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia in the post-Chernobyl period».

In 1989 graduated with honors Donetsk National Medical University. After graduation she studied in magistracy at the Department of Internal Diseases # 2 of DNMU. Thesis topic: “Clinical and immunological characteristics and means of correction of arterial hypertension against the background of pathology of hepatobiliary system”. Kira Linevska, PhD, Associate Professor

 

She graduated from Donetsk State Medical Institute with honors in 1987.

She defended her PhD thesis on “Optimization of clinical and laboratory diagnostics of chronic recurrent pancreatitis” in 2000. She was awarded the academic title Associate Professor in 2007. She is the author and co-author of 197 scientific and methodological works in professional and foreign editions, including 7 tutorials and monographs, among them the methodical 7 tutorial “Collection of tasks for preparation for the test examination in professionally oriented disciplines KROK-2. Larysa Kupchik, PhD

 

Graduated from Kyiv Bogomolets Medical Institute in 1988. In 1989 finished the internship in speciality “therapy-gastroenterology” and began working in the Department of Internal Medicine # 1. PhD thesis: “Diagnostic and prognostic value of serum R-proteins in peptic ulcer”.

Engaged in the study of the gastric mucosaʹs condition, secretory insufficiency of the pancreas in gastroenterologic patients and Неlісоbасtеr руlоrі infection. Scrutinizes tendencies for the development of peptic ulcer, atrophic gastritis, tumors of the stomach, gastroesophageal reflux disease and Barrett’s esophagus.

Author and co-author of numerous scientific works, methodical recommendations for practical classes and independent practical work of students.

Tishchenko Viktoriya, PhD, Associate Professor

 

Tishchenko Viktoriya graduated with the honors from the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy in 1997. In the same year she entered the magistracy at the Department of Faculty Therapy №1 of the Bogomolets NMU, and graduated it with honors in 1998. From 1998 to 2001 she studied in postgraduate studies. The thesis topic is “Improvement of eradication of H. pylori in patients with peptic ulcer”.

Scientific and practical interests are gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastrointestinal diseases, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, metabolic syndrome.

She is author and co-author of 22 scientific articles, including in international journals indexed in Scopus science database, and 2 declaratory patents for the invention.

She has successfully completed the international postgraduate practical internship organized by the Collegium Civitas University (Poland, Warsaw, 2020).  She has successfully completed the international postgraduate practical internship «New and innovative teaching methods in medicine» at the Lublin Medical University (Poland, Lublin, 2021).

She is a therapist of the highest qualification category, and a gastroenterologist of the first qualification category.

 

 

 

 

 

Krychynska Iryna, PhD, Associate Professor.

 

Krychynska Iryna graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2003. Completed a clinical residency at the Department of Faculty Therapy in 2007. In 2013, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Clinical and hemodynamic effectiveness of long-term low-dose therapy with a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor and its effect on the function of the endothelium and indicators of the NO-system of erythrocytes in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension”. He is the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific works.

In 2010 she graduated with honors from Bukovynian State Medical University. In 2018 she defended her PhD thesis on “Differentiated pathogenetic approaches to the prevention and treatment of gastropathies induced by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.” Author of more than 14 publications, including international publications indexed in the scientometric database Scopus. Hirsch Index – 1. Participated in scientific and practical and international conferences (European Gastroenterology Week (Barcelona, ​​2015), EAGEN, the European Association of Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Nutrition (Berlin, 2015), scientific and practical conference of the Ukrainian Society of Therapists (Kyiv, 2016), international conference “Comorbidity in pulmonology” (Truskavets, 2017). Neverovskyi Artem, PhD

 

In 2017 he graduated with honors from the Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2017-2019 he underwent an internship in the specialty “internal diseases” and a secondary specialization in gastroenterology. In 2021 he defended the PhD thesis on the topic: “Modification of cardiovascular risk by correction of bacterial bile salt hydrolase in patients with dyslipidemia”.

Research interests: intestinal microbiota, inflammatory and functional diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, hepatology.

In 2019, he received grants from the United European Gastroenterology (UEG) to attend the UEG Summer School 2019, Prague, Czech Republic, the UEG Young Investigators Meeting 2019, Vienna, Austria, and the United European Gastroenterology Week 2019, Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Author of more than 20 publications, including in international journals indexed in Scopus science database. The Hirsch Index is 1.

Baylo Alina, PhD

 

In 2016, she graduated with honors from the Bogomolets National Medical University. From 2016 to 2018, she studied at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Bogomolets National Medical University, specialty “Internal diseases”. Since 2018, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1. From 2019 to 2022, she studied at the graduate school of the Bogomolets National Medical University and defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Optimization of anticoagulant therapy in patients with cirrhosis of the liver under the conditions of a combined course with atrial fibrillation.” Field of scientific interests: gastroenterology, hepatology.

In 1999 she graduated from Vinnytsia State Medical University. In 2010 she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Author of 15 scientific publications, a regular participant in national and foreign scientific conferences and symposia on gastroenterology and hepatology.

Research interests: gastroenterology, hepatology

Serhii Polishchuk

 

The head of endoscopy Gastro Zentrum OLYMED, Ternopil State Medical University graduated in 2002. 14-15/12/2017: Medical Expert Training in Basic Techniques of Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), Hamburg, Germany. 01-02/12/2018: Medical Expert Training in Advanced Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), Hamburg, Germany. 14-15/03/2019 – internship at the GastroZentrum Hirslanden (Zurich, Switzerland).

The main directions of scientific and practical work: conducting primary specialization in Endoscopy (number of trained postgraduate students – 6 doctors).

Scientific interests: gastrointestinal endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of the GI diseases.

Reshotko Dmytro, PhD

 

Graduated from the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets with honors in 2001. In 2001-2002 graduated with a master’s degree, in 2002-2004 passed a clinical residency at the Department of Hospital Therapy №1 NMU (Prof. KM Amosova). From 2004 to 2009 – assistant of the same department, consultant of the Rheumatology, and then Infarction department of the Kyiv Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. In 2007 defended PhD dissertation on the specialty “Cardiology”. Author of 18 scientific articles, co-author of the book “Chronic Cor Pulmonale: the view of a cardiologist.”

From 2010 to 2018 – Head of the Infarction department №1 of the Kyiv Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. Active member of the Ukrainian and European Society of Cardiology, member of the scientific (advisory) boards of research departments of leading pharmaceutical companies. Sitnikov Andriy

 

She is finishing her work on writing a PhD thesis on “Causes, diagnosis and treatment of HP – negative gastric and duodenal ulcers”.

Author and co-author of more than 10 scientific papers, publications, teaching aids for students. He received an internship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Krelwitz Wittenberg Clinic (Halle, Germany). He is a participant and speaker at many international conferences, symposia, seminars, gastroenterology schools. Specialist in conducting 13C and H2 breath tests and laboratory diagnostics of viral hepatitis B and C.
