International cooperation

 

Responsible person for the International Cooperation of the Department – Candidate of Medical Scienses, Assistant Professor Petelytska L.B.

 

The employees of the Department are the active participants of the international investigative projects about epidemiology and management of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, spondyloarthritis, nephritis, gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases. The employees of the Department are members of the European Vasculitis Society (EUVAS), European Renal Association-European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ЕRA-EDTA), European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), International Society of Nephrology (ISN), European Association of Urology (EAU). They are reviewers of the foreign journals, cited in SCOPUS and Web of Science.

 

For purpose of training on modern international diagnostic and treatment methods the employees of the Department participate in the European educational programs and receive certificates about the successful completion of them (Annual Educational Rheumatology Course and EULAR on-line Introductory Ultrаsound Course from the EULAR Education for Professionals). The employees of the Department are the researchers in the International Clinical Trials of the efficacy and safety of immunobiologic and synthetic drugs in treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Staff of the Department have regular training courses in the European clinics (Austria, Italy, Switzerland). The members of Student Research Group of the Department also present their research results at the European student conferences and participate in the international programs and training courses (Meliksetian A.V. – Italy, Mazanko K.V. – Japan).
