Olha Mykolaivna Hyrina

Head of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences

 

In 1974 Olha M. Hyrina graduated from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute.

From 1974 to 1975 she held internship training in the specialty “Therapy”.

From 1975 to 1979 she worked on the position of physician in cardiology department in Hospital №1 of IV Main Department of the Ministry of Health of the USSR.

From 1979 to 1991 she worked as a district physician in Special Outpatient Clinic of IV Main Department of the Ministry of Health of the USSR.

In 1987 she defended her Candidate’s dissertation.

In 1991 she was taken into the position of teaching assistant of the Department of Clinical Therapy №1, where she worked until 1996.

From 1996 to 1997 she worked as assistant professor of the Department of Clinical Therapy №1.

In 1996 she defended her Doctoral dissertation.

In 1997 she was transferred on a competitive basis to the position of head of the Department of Clinical Therapy №3, where she worked until 2003.

In 2001 he was awarded the title of Professor.

In 2003 she was approved to the position of head the Department of Ambulatory Care and Family Medicine on a competitive basis, where she worked until 2008.

In 2008 she was approved to the position of head of the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine). There she has been working through present.

 

O.M. Hyrina is the author of over 470 scientific publications, including 8 books and monographs, 15 inventions and patents, 1 academic program for training general practitioners (family medicine) in Ukraine. Over the past 5 years she published 107 papers, including 8 books, 14 patents, etc.

O.M. Hyrina is a member of the Association of Family Physicians of Ukraine and the European Association of General Practitioners and a member of the editorial board of the journal “Simeyna Medytsyna”.

 

 

Tetiana Heorgiivna Lemziakova

Assistant professor of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

 In 1963 Tetiana H. Lemziakova graduated from the Medical Faculty of Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute. After graduating from Medical Institute she worked on the position of district physician and then she was chief of biochemical and clinical laboratories, which she created in village Vyhoda of Dolyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. At that time she continued working on her Candidate’s dissertation on “Exchange of trace substances in atherosclerosis”, which was defended in 1966. After that she began working as teaching assistant of the Department of Intermediate Level Therapy at Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute.

Since 1970 she worked on the position of teaching assistant of the Department of Clinical Therapy at Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute, headed by Professor O.A. Eisenberg. In 1985 she received the title of Assistant professor of the same department.

In 1996 Assistant Professor T.H. Lemziakova was transferred to work at the Department of Clinical Therapy №3, which is now called the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) of Bogomolets National Medical University.
At present she deals with problems of microcirculation in cardiology, hepatology and rheumatology.

She is the author of over 100 scientific publications, co-author of 3 monographs and textbooks. She takes an active part in the work of congresses and conferences.

 

 

Alla Volodymyrivna Novytska

Assistant professor of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

 In 1986 she graduated from Medical Faculty of Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute. After the internship she worked on the position of general practitioner in Kyiv. She continued her training in clinical residency (1990-1992), at the Department of Intermediate Level Therapy №2 with the course in Endocrinology at Bogomolets National Medical University (1992-1995). Since 1996 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Ambulatory Preparation and Family Medicine, since 2009 – Assistant professor of General Practice (Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University.
The main area of scientific activity is clinical application of embryonic cell suspensions containing stem cells. In 2000 she defended her Candidate’s dissertation on “Treatment of diabetic patients with immune and hematological disorders of homeopathic cells of fetal human liver” under the guidance of Professor O.O. Smykodub. She is one of the organizers of Cell-based Therapy Clinic, established in 1994.

 From 2001 to 2003 – Senior Research Worker of T ransplantation of organs, tissues and cells coordination center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Since 2004 – employee of Cell-based Therapy Unit of Intensive Care Unit and extracorporeal detoxification at Emergency medical service of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital .

 She is the author of 64 scientific publications, 7 national and international patents , including 4 patents of Ukraine , 1 patent in Russia , 1 in Netherlands and 1 in Greece . Also she is co-author of 3 guidances on the issue of stem cell therapy approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine . Alla V. Novytska participated in 25 scientific congresses and conferences, including 12 national and 13 international.

 

 

 

Natalia Valentynivna Snihyr

Assistant professor of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

 In 1988 Natalia V. Snihyr graduated from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute. From 1989 to 1992 after the internship she worked on the position of general practitioner at Out-patient clinic №1 of Vatutinsky district in Kyiv. 1992-1994 – training in clinical residency at the Department of Intermediate Level Therapy №2 with the course in Endocrinology and Military Field Therapy of Bogomolets Ukrainian State Medical University. Since 1994 until 1997 – Postgraduate studies at the Department of Clinical Therapy №3 at Bogomolets National Medical University. She prepared a dissertation devoted to studying the effect of transplantation of cryopreserved hematopoietic cells of fetal human liver on the course of cytostatic myelodepression under the direction of Assistant professor O.I. Smykodub during the completion of postgraduate studies.

1997-1998 – Doctor in Cell-based Therapy Clinical of Embryonic T issues Center “Em Cell”. From 1998 to 2009. – Teaching assistant of the Department of Ambulatory Preparation and Family Medicine at Bogomolets National Medical University .

In 2001 s he defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on “ Application of hematopoietic cells of fetal human liver in treatment of cytostatic myelodepression in cancer patients ”.

In 2009 through present – Assistant professor of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University .

She has 34 published works , and 1 patent. Natalia V. Snihyr conducts medical and advisory work in the Therapeutic Department №2 at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №8.

 

 

 

Serhiy Oleksandrovych Velychko

Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Serhiy Velychko graduated from Kuibyshev Military Medical Faculty at Kuibyshev Medical Institute in 1979.

From 1979 to 1999 he served in the armed forces of the USSR and Ukraine as infection disease doctor. He finished serving in the army as a major infection disease doctor of Border Troops of Ukraine and held the rank of Colonel.

In 1993 he defended his dissertation on “ Clinico- pathogenetic efficacy of hemosorption in patients with viral hepatitis A in conditions of hot climate and mountain- desert terrain ”.

Since 2000 he has been working on the position of Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice (F amily Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University. He is the a uthor of 15 published scientific papers and 5 rational proposals. He is engaged in scientific work in the field of non-drug methods of treatments and disease prevention (homeopathy , herbal medicine).

 

 

Hennadiy Davydovych Kirzhner  

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 1981 he started his career at the Kyiv City Emergency Medical Services (ambulance man, then – paramedic of specialized cardiac intensive care unit ). In 1993 he graduated with honors from Ukrainian State Medical University with specialization in “General medicine”. He completed internship training program in “General practice” and primary specialization in cardiology. He continued to work within the team of specialized cardiac intensive care unit on the position of cardiologist. In 1998 he served internship at the Vienna University Clinic of circulatory support techniques. In 1999 he was invited to teach a course of Medicine Emergency to the department of General Practice (Family Medicine) as a second job. In 2006, after successful defending of his dissertation, he received his degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences with specialization in “Cardiology”. Subject of dissertation: “Treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction in the prehospital phase using systemic thrombolytic therapy and non- Haemoglobin-based oxygen carrier ” . Since 2010 he completely switched over to teaching.

After organizing the clinical site of the Department in Clinic (from out-patient clinic ) of Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv he performs duties of consultant – cardiologist .

He is in charge of the work of Students’ Scientific Group at the Department .

Area of his research activities – changes in the work of cardiovascular system under the influence of chemotherapy and problems of arrhythmogenicity – especially the problem of sudden death.

He is existing member of the European Telemedicine Association.

He is the author of 45 scientific publications, 2 invention patents and co-author of two monographs.

 

 

Vitaliy Mykhaylovych Rudichenko

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 1985 he graduated from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical University . After graduation from clinical residency in “Cardiology” he worked on the position of research assistant at Kyiv Research Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism’ since 1998 he has been working as Teaching assistant in the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University.
He is the author of over 110 scientific publications.

 

 

 

Natalia Mykhailivna Horobets

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 2001 she graduated from Pyrohov Vinnytsa National Medical University with specialization in “Medicine”. From 2001 to 2002 she held internship training in specialty “Therapy” at Vinnitsa City Clinical Hospital №2. Since 2002 she worked at the Department of Intermediate Level Therapy in Pyrohov Vinnytsya National Medical University. In 2005 during Specialized Academic Council at Kyiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate education named after P.L. Shupyk of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine she defended her Candidate’s dissertation on “Vasoregulating function of endothelial and hemodynamic status in patients with essential hypertension and nephrogenic determined hypertension”.

Since 2007 she has been working on the position of Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University.

Inna Oleksandrivna Sorokina

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 1996 she graduated from Medical faculty of Bogomolets National Medical University . From 1996 to 1997 she held internship training with specialization in “Therapy” at Kyiv Regional Hospital.

1997 – 1999 – resident physician of the D epartment of arrhythmias at Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology.

1999 – 2003. – PhD student at the Department of Cardiovascular Pathology at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

In 2003 she defended her Candidate’s dissertation on “Features of influence of antagonists of calcium foridonum and Phenihydin on hemodynamics in coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease in clinic and experimentally”.

From 2003 through present – Deputy Director for Clinical Work in Diagnostic and Treatment Center “Adonis-O”. Along with this from 2008 s he has been working on the position of Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University .

She is the author of over 15 scientific publications and two patents.

 

 

Maria Radievna Lebedynska

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 2000 she graduated with honors from Medical Faculty of Bogomolets National Medical University. After internship training she worked on the position of general practitioner. In 2001 she entered post graduate training program at the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) of Bogomolets National Medical University and defended her dissertation on “Features of secretion of proinflammatory cytokines, fatty acid, energy metabolism and cellular permeability in patients with coronary heart disease”.

Since 2004 s he has been working on the position of Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University.

She is the author of over 40 publications.

 

 

 

Vitaliy Vitaliyovych Hyrin

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

 In 1999 he graduated from National Medical College and entered Bogomolets National Medical University on Medical Faculty, which he graduated in 2005 with honors.

From 2005 to 2007 he underwent internship training in “Family Doctor – General Practitioner” at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №1. From 2005 to 2007 he attended Master’s degree program at the Department of Master of Clinical Therapy №2 in Bogomolets National Medical University. He defended his Master’s thesis on “The role of viral infections in the development of type 1 diabetes”.

2007 – 2009 – clinical intern at the D epartment of Internal Medicine №3 of Bogomolets National Medical University .

In 2008 he held training with specialization in Therapy in the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk.

In 2009 he defended his Candidate’s dissertation on "The state of the immune system in children with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes in the settings of persistent Coxsackie B virus infection”.
Since 2009 he has been working on the position of Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University .
He is the author of over 15 scientific publications and two patents.

 

 

Viktoria Olegivna Siryk

Teaching aassistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine), Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 2000 she graduated from Medical Faculty of Bogomolets National Medical University in “Therapy”.
From 2000 to 2001 she held internship training in “Therapy” at the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) of Bogomolets National Medical University.

From 2001 to 2007 she worked on the position of general practitioner in out-patient clinic №1 of Solomiansky district in Kyiv.

From 2007 through present she is the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine in out-patient clinic №1 of Solomiansky district in Kyiv.
From 2004 to 2009 she worked on the position of senior laboratory assistant at the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) of Bogomolets National Medical University .

In 2009 she defended her Candidate’s dissertation on “Changes of immune status, functional activity of endothelial and platelet counts in patients with arterial hypertension and its correction”.

Since 2009 s he has been working on the position of Teaching assistant of the Department of General Practice ( Family Medicine) at Bogomolets National Medical University.

he is the author of 15 scientific publications and 2 patents. She has performed at scientific forums and conferences with international participation, using materials of her dissertation.
