OBLIGATORY MINIMUM LIST OF PRACTICAL SKILLS

(2 module)

 

  1. Examination of surgical patient: features and method of collection of anamnesis. Making the diagnostic algorithm. Substantiation of clinical diagnosis.
  2. Preparing of medical documentation: case histories, extracts from them.
  3. Methods of examination of peripheral veins (symptom of Trendelenburg, Delbe-Pertes test).
  4. Method of examination of peripheral arteries.
  5. Methods of determination of blood group.
  6. Transfusions of the blood components and blood substitutes.
  7. Temporal control of bleeding: digital compression of vessel, imposition of torniquet.
  8. The injections of drug substances (intramuscular, hypodermic, intravenous);
  9. Indirect massage of heart.
  10. Artificial respiration.
  11. Interpretation of clinical blood and urine tests.
  12. Interpretation of biochemical analyses: urea, nitrogen of urea, kreatinine; proteins of blood, – and coagulograms.
  13. Reading of sciagrams: survey sciagraphy of organs of the chest, CT-scans.
  14. Imposition and removal of surgical sutures.
  15. Insertion of stomach probe.
  16. Urethral catheterization by a soft catheter.
  17. Fixing of the tongue.
  18. Initial surgical treatment of wound.
