Bilyansky Leonid Semenovich,

Born in 1951, graduated from the Ternopil State Medical Institute in 1975 with a degree in medical practice. From 1975 to 1976 he was trained at internship at the Fastovsky Central District Hospital in the Kyiv region. From 1976 to 1983, he served as a district surgeon, regional district oncologist of the Tetyivsky Central District Hospital of the Kyiv region, under the direction of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.From 1983 to 1985 he worked as a clinical internship at the Kyiv Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery and completed a full course in the field of Surgery. From 1985 to October 2014 he worked at the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantation. OO Shalimova NAMS of Ukraine. Since November, 2014, now and time is working as head of the Department of Surgery №1 of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets

From 1987 to 1993, he worked as the head of the department of surgery for the esophagus, stomach and intestines of the Kiev Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery. In connection with the re-submission of the Institute in 1994 to the Institute of Surgery and Transplantation, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine transferred to the position of the doctor-resident of the named department. In 2005, he was elected a Senior Researcher at the competition. In February 2008, he was promoted to the leading position, and in April – Chief Scientist of the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Intestinal Transplantation.

In 1996 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “Clinical and experimental substantiation of surgical treatment of reflux gastritis (clinical and experimental research)”, and in 2006 – a doctoral dissertation on the subject: “State of the intestinal barrier and surgical tactics for acute intestinal obstruction (clinically -experimental research) »

Bilyansky L.S. was the responsible executive of research topics: “Studying the state of the intestinal barrier in surgical interventions on the abdominal organs” (1999 – 2001), “The role of bacterial translocation in the development of septic complications in the obstructive obstruction of the colon.” (2002 – 2004r. .), “To study the main causes of erosive-ulcerative lesions and to justify the choice of treatment methods for patients operated on the stomach and duodenum” (2009 – 2011), “Optimization of diagnostic and surgical tactics, development and implementation of treatment prophylactic and prophylactic measures in patients with the risk of development of intra-abdominal hypertension syndrome “(2011-2013). For 2014 – 2016: “To substantiate the choice of methods of surgical treatment of patients with obesity and related metabolic disorders”.

During 2009-2014 under the leadership of Bilyansky L.S. 3 candidate’s theses were defended and submitted to the defense of the fourth.

Bilyansky L.S. is a member of the European Association of Herniologists (EHS-GREPA), the European Association of Surgeons (ESS), the European Association for Colorectal Technologies (ECTA) and the International Federation for the Treatment of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders. In 2008 and 2009. he was invited as a lecturer on the treatment of complicated defects of the abdominal wall in Kaliningrad and Kazan, and in 2009 and 2012 he conducted a master class and a lecture course on the treatment of complex defects in the abdominal wall in Yekaterinburg. With an expanded lecture on identified problems, along with leading experts from America, Germany and Russia, she spoke at an international conference on herniology in Moscow in 2011. Over the past 5 years Bilyansky L.S. participated in 31 international conferences. Of these, 12 are within Ukraine and 19 are foreign. As a lecturer, he made 17 lectures and lectures. In May 2014, within the framework of the 36th International Congress of the European Association of Herniologists in Edinburgh (Scotland), she made 3 reports. Bilyansky L.S. is a scientific expert in the work of 6 international conferences of the Russian School of Colorectal Surgery. Speaking as an expert and chairman of the international meeting of experts on the treatment of abdominal hernia and the problems of treatment of chronic ulnar pain, which took place in Lviv (2013).

Bilyansky L.S. is the author and co-author of 194 published scientific works and 25 patents for inventions, 7 copyright certificates. Co-author of two monographs – “Endoscopy of internal organs”, recommended by the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine as a textbook, and “Reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the anterior abdominal wall” recommended by the Academic Council of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after PLShupik, Ministry of Health of Ukraine as a guide for doctors

From 2010 till 2014 he was engaged in pedagogical work at the Department of Military Surgery of the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy, where he was a professor at the Department for a part-time job. Pedagogical activity continues as head of the Department of Surgery №1 of the National Medical University named after A.O. Bogomolets

Bilyansky L.S. is a member of two specialized scientific councils for the protection of candidate and doctoral theses, namely D.26.561.01 at the KMAPE and D.26.613.08 at IWT NAMUU

Bilyansky L.S. is a highly skilled specialist in the field of surgery, has a higher attestation category.

In 2011 he was awarded a diploma of the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

For honest work he was awarded the Honorary Diploma of Kyiv city state administration, and in 2010 he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Doctor of Ukraine”.

 

Mykhail Petrovich Zakharash

Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, elected on November 6, 2003 in specialty Proctology, Doctor of Medical Sciences (1990), Professor (1991), Honored Academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Belarus, Academician of the International Academy of Anthropology, Honored Doctor of Ukraine (1987), State Prize laureate in the field of science and technology of Ukraine (2004), head of the Ukrainian proctologists of professional magazines of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. Doctor of Ukraine (1987), honored with the Order of Merit III (2003) and II (2007) degrees, Hail with the letter of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2008), the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2009).

Oleksandr Ivanovych Poida

Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Deaprtment of surgery №1, Honored doctor of Ukraine. He is responsible for the therapeutic work of proctological section of a hospital Department of Surgery №1.

Mykola Dmytrovych Kucher

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Surgery №1.
He is responsible for the medical work of the Department and teaching the English-speaking students at the Department of Surgery №1.

Olga M. Kovalenko, Ph.D., M.D., Prof.

Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology,

Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

Member of the European Burn Association and

member of the European Wound Management Association.

 Biography.

She graduated Poltava Medical Institute in 1979 and clinical internship at Kyiv Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in 1988.

After that she has been working on the position of head of children’s burn department of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital #23.

In 2002 she defended Candidate’s thesis “Influence of early surgical treatment on the course of burn disease in adults”.

In 2012 she defended her Doctoral thesis “Pathogenetic substantiation of surgical treatment programs for children with widespread burns and their influence on the course of wound healing”.

Directions of scientific work:

Burn surgery, reconstructive and anaplastic surgery after burn injuries and strains.
Consultant of the Ukrainian mobile station of emergency medical treatment of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Jurii Mykhailovych Zakharash
