• The founding meeting and the first meeting of the student scientific club of the department took place at the Department of Emergency Medicine and Tactical Medicine of the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University on November 1, 2017. .
• The main directions of the research work of the Department:

– development of modern medical and non-medical remedies and measures of protection against striking factors of different nature and substantiation of the regulations for their application in emergency situations;

– research on tactical medicine, ecology and ethical issues in emergency situations;

– assessment of risks in social, technical, technological and natural environment in emergencies;

– study of methods and algorithms of risk analysis in emergency situations;

– optimization of algorithms for elimination of emergency situations.

• The student-colleagues acquires additional competencies necessary for:

– crisis management in emergencies,

– implementation of the principles of prevention of extraordinary (crisis) phenomena;

– Deployment of specialized forces and facilities for rescue, localization and liquidation work;

– crisis management in the public sector and local executive bodies, enterprises and organizations, regardless of ownership.

• Professor Grinzovsky A.M. and the staff of the department constantly works with students, providing annual preparation of students in scientific club of the department to participate in scientific forums, competitions and competitions, among which are winners and graduates of National competitions:

Belikova Yu. O. – Second degree diploma.  All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on natural, technical and human sciences (Kyiv, 2010) Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №_679 from 07.07.2010 «On the results of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on natural, technical and human sciences in 2009/2010 academic year  year ”;

Belikova Yu. O. – Second degree diploma.  All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Works in Natural, Technical and Humanities (Kyiv, 2011) Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Order # 666 of “29” p.  Kyiv «On the results of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in natural, technical and human sciences in the 2010/2011 academic year.

Adonin D.I. Prize-winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of emergency medical teams with international participation “Cherkasy Medical Rally – 2018”.  And a place among private (emergency) medical teams in private ownership.

Adonin D.I.^ Prize-winner of the Third All-Ukrainian Winter Championship of Emergency (Emergency) Brigades with International Participation “Kremenets Medical Rally-2018”.  And a place in one of the stages of the competition.

Chala S.K.: the winner of the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in fields of knowledge and specialties in 2021/2022 n.y. Also, at the “Preventive Medicine” section of AYMS Conf 2022, the student won a victory and a diploma for 1st place.

• The scientific club meets once a month.
