ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF KYIV RESTORED KATERYNA AMOSOVA AT THE POST OF RECTOR IN O.O. BOGOMOLETS NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

The decision by administrative court in c. Kyiv restored Kateryna Amosova at the post of rector in NMU. The document cancelled the effect of section No 3 in Order from MHC, which dismissed the rector from her post for 2 weeks in connection with the check. The same section in order from MHC illegally imposed the duties of rector on Mykhailo Zakharash.

According to court decision Kateryna Amosova returned to her duties of rector in NMU immediately.

Let’s remind that firstly Amosova herself and her advocates declared about illegality of order. On Tuesday the meeting for Committee of Verkhovna Rada on health care issues took place. The deputies also doubted the legality of this order. In this connection they appealed to Prime-minister Volodymyr Hroisman with petition to interfere into situation and to cancel the illegal order from MHC.

As it has been informed before, the illegal actions by MHC provoked the strike of labor collective and students at university. The scientific and educational process was completely stopped.

On 28.02.18 rector Amosova called the students and labor collective to stop the strike and to return to educational process. They listened to her and the strike was stopped.
