On June 20-26, 2017, at the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology of Postgraduate Education, an examination was carried out to assess the knowledge and practical skills of medical interns, with the following granting of a doctor-specialist degree in the specialties “Internal Diseases” and “General Practice – Family Medicine” to those who successfully passed the tests. On January 30, 2017, Bogomolets National Medical University hosted a scientific conference of students, medical interns and young scientists “Interesting cases in clinical medicine”. Among the participants in the section “Internal medicine” were students of the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of Postgraduate Education – first-year medical interns in the field of Internal Diseases Angelina Kolomiets and Kateryna Kutuzova, graduate student Tetyana Alianova.

Medical interns in the “General Practice – Family Medicine” specialty have the opportunity to undergo part of the training in a general-practice outpatient clinic in the village of Vyshenki (Boryspil district of the Kyiv region) under the guidance of Chief Physician Lyudmila Bondarenko.
First-year medical interns in the field of “General Practice – Family Medicine” were able to improve their first aid skills in the training center for postgraduate education.
