JOINT MEETING OF THE CONFERENCE OF LABOR COLLECTIVE AND NMU’S SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL

The joint meeting of the Conference of labor collective and meeting of Scientific council was held on 28, April, 2015. The chairman of the meeting was the head of trade union for employees of university M.M. LUKIANETS.

According to agenda of the joint meeting of CLC and NMU’s Scientific council they considered the following issues:
1. The international cooperation as a top-priority direction in strategic development of university and integration into the world scientific educational space. (Reporter: acting prorector on international relations and scientific pedagogical activity, professor O.V. LYNOVYTSKA).
2. The financial economical activity of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university in 2014, perspectives for improvement of its efficiency as a necessary condition for further development of establishment and financial encouragement of employees.” (Reporter: prorector on scientific pedagogical activity and perspective development, professor O.A. NYKYTIUK).
3. Approval of provision “About students’ self-government at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university” (Reporter: acting chairman of students’ parliament P.A. ZGURSKYY).
4. Election of delegates from O.O. Bohomolets National medical university to the congress of representatives from higher schools with state pattern of ownership to elect the members in National agency on provision with quality in higher education.” (Reporter: first prorector on scientific pedagogical activity, professor Ya.V. TSEKHMISTER).
The following delegates from NMU were elected to the congress of representatives from higher schools with state pattern of ownership to elect the members in National agency on provision with quality in higher education by open voting:
– Rector of NMU, corresponding member in AMS of Ukraine, professor AMOSOVA Kateryna Mykolayivna;
– Head at department of surgery No 3, academician in NAS and NAMS of Ukraine, professor FOMIN Petro Dmytrovych;
– Head of trade union bureau of medical faculty No 2, assistant professor at department of surgery No 4, KOVAL Borys Mykhaylovych.

The conference of labor collective at NMU by secret voting also elected the candidate for member in National agency on provision with quality in higher education due to the share for higher schools with state pattern of ownership – chairman in anti-corruption committee of University, head at department of dermatology and venereology, professor V.I. STEPANENKO.
5. Current affairs
5.1. About changes into University Charter.
The chairman of the meeting reported that the Minister of health care Oleksander Kvitashvili signed the changes into NMU’s Charter, which were previously agreed at the meetings of CLC and Scientific council of university. Thus, the University is entitled to establish the corresponding structural subdivisions, their manning tables and estimates. The delegates of CLC voted to support to the appeal to the Owner of NMU Ministry of health care of Ukraine in relation to reorganization of the faculty of postgraduate education into the institute of postgraduate education, organization of work for Scientific research institute of experimental and clinical medicine (with laboratory diagnostic center); organization of public catering center – since 1, August, 2015.
5.2. About changes in the composition of scientific council.
The delegates of CLC supported two petitions, the first one from the department of ophthalmology about inclusion of professor VITOVSKA Oksana Petrivna into composition of NMU’s Scientific council and withdrawal of corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine ZHABOYEDOV Gennadiy Dmytrovych from the composition of NMU’s Scientific council; the second petition from department of health care organization and social medicine about inclusion of head at department, professor GRUZEVA Tetiana Stepanivna into composition of NMU’s Scientific council”.
5.3. About provision of Donetsk and Lugansk medical university with financial aid.
The delegates of CLC decided to support the initiative from Minister of health care Oleksander Kvitashvili as to possibility to render the aid to Donetsk and Lugansk medical university and to transfer a single financial aid in the amount of UAH 100 from the salary of all scientific pedagogical employees of NMU (including the ones holding several employments), which will be transferred in equal proportion to the abovementioned higher school.

Acting prorector on scientific pedagogical activity, assistant professor O.V. STECHENKO reported and the Scientific council approved the following issues by open voting:
5.4 . About establishment of anti-plagiarism commission at University;
5.5. About change in topic of thesis work by assistant professor Melnyk V.S. into “Course of ischemic insult depending on genetic polymorphism and changes of hemostasis system”;
5.6. About recommendation for entry to clinical residency at department of internal medicine No 3 for Pavlovskyy Serhii Anatoliyovych and Zhyvago Stepan Serhiyovych, department of dentistry Demianenko Dmytro Oleksandrovych, department of obstetrics and gynecology No 3 Boychuk Yuliia Ivanivna;
5.7. About recommendation for scientific work with the right to enter to the Master’s course for students-graduates in 2015.
