XI INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “DISEASE OF LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM VIK”
On 22-23, February, 2018, the club members and young scientists at department of orthopedics and traumatology at O.O. Bogomolets NMU took part in the XI international conference of young scientists “Diseases of locomotor system VIK” that took place on the base of SE “D.F. Chebotariov Institute of Gerontology at NAMS of Ukraine”. The event was organized together with National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine, Ukrainian Association of Osteoporosis, Ukrainian Association of Menopause, Andropause and Diseases of Locomotor System. The session this year was devoted to the memory of Ukrainian scientist, Doctor of Medicine, professor Ye.P. Podrushniak.
The head at division of clinical physiology and pathology of locomotor system at SE “D.F. Chebotariov Institute of Gerontology at NAMS of Ukraine”, president in Association of Menopause, Andropause and Diseases of Locomotor System Vladyslav Povorozniuk made the welcome speeches to the participants. The assessment of participants included the quality of composed essay according to the requirements, multi media report due to previously declared topic, at last stage the participants would demonstrate their academic knowledge in English, presented the report in English and answer the questions by members in jury.
The laureates of international conference for young scientists were resident at department of orthopedics and traumatology Myroslav Vakulisch took the first place and received the diploma for the best clinical report. The members in Kysil Students’ Scientific Society showed the high result, namely Vadym Shapovalov, student of the 5th course with report “Replacement of bone defects with bioactive glass” took the 2nd place, as well as Levytskyi Yevhenii, student of the 4th course took the 3rd place. The materials of the conference will be published in specialized scientific practical journal “Pain. Joints. Spine” No 1, 2018
