IX SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “URGENT PROBLEMS OF MODERN MEDICAL PSYCHOLOGY”

IX scientific practical conference of students and young scientists with international participation “Urgent problems of modern medical psychology” took place on 23-24, April, 2015. Under active support from administration of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university the conference was organized by teachers at department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy and students from medical psychological faculty of NMU, O.A. Kysil students’ scientific society and Society of young scientists and specialists of NMU. Ukrainian association of doctors-psychologists provided with the information support to the conference.

The following persons took part in the solemn opening ceremony: academician in NAPS of Ukraine, head at department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy, Doctor of Psychology, professor S.D. Maksymenko; acting dean of medical psychological faculty at O.O. Bohomolets NMU, assistant professor I.O. Loginova; professor O.O. Khaustova, director of Medical psychological center at Bukovyna state medical university, assistant professor O.Yu. Polischuk, Candidate of Medicine, teacher at department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy at O.O. Bohomolets NMU A.Yu. Kasyanova; junior scientific worker in division of medical social problems in cardiology at SE “NRC Academician M.D. Strazhesko Institute of cardiology” at NAMS of Ukraine Zh.G. Adaricheva; chairman in Council of Society of young scientists and specialists V.V. Moroz; the student at Ukrainian medical dental academy Galvash Yuseff presented his report in English.

Academician in NAPS of Ukraine, professor Maksymenko Serhii Dmytrovych in his introductory report paid the attention of the audience to the psychological problems, related to political, social economical and military situation in Ukraine and possible ways for its solution. The reporter brilliantly set forth the main provisions in psychology of personal vital energy, which specifically unites the biological and social determinants (components) and acts in the form of eternal driving force for self-development of human.

In general almost 40 persons took part in the conference and presented their oral and stand reports. The meeting of sections was visited by teachers and students from O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv national university, Bukovyna state medical university, V.G. Korolenko Poltava national pedagogical university, Ukrainian medical dental academy and other educational and research establishments of Ukraine. The teachers from medical faculty of T.G. Shevchenko Transdniester state university also took part in the conference.

The jury was formed of professors, assistant professors and teachers at department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy at NMU: academician Maksymenko S.D., Doctor of Medicine Khaustova O.O., Doctor of Medicine Tabachnikov O.Yu., Candidate of Psychology Gorodnova N.M., Candidate of Psychology Maksymenko K.S., Candidate of Psychology Panasenko N.M., Candidate of Psychology Tertychna N.A., Candidate of Psychology Filonenko M.M., Candidate of Medicine Bozhuk B.S., Candidate of Medicine Kasyanova A.Yu., Candidate of Medicine Trachuk L.Ye.

The best scientific reports were defined due to results from section meeting and their authors were awarded with diplomas and gifts. The best report was on topic “Medical psychological peculiarities of patients with pain syndrome” by Master’s Degree Student at department of general and medical psychology and pedagogy at O.O. Bohomolets NMU Lidiia Mykolayivna Kryvonosova.

The practical part of the conference that was presented by 5 master-classes, visited by over 50 persons, was held next day.
