THE VICTORY OF STUDENTS FROM UNIVERSITY IN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ CONGRESS OF (BIO) MEDICAL SCIENCES ISCOMS 2017
Our congratulations to the student of the 4th course in medical faculty No 2, Orel Valerii, with the victory in International Students’ Congress of (Bio) medical Sciences ISCOMS 2017. The special gratitude was expressed in the letter by Committee of Recommendation ISCOMS 2017 to the rector of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University Kateryna Mykolaivna Amosova and dean of medical faculty No 2 Litvinova Natalia Yuriivna for support in his preparation for congress.
The International Students’ Congress of (Bio) medical Sciences ISCOMS is the scientific forum, which is held every year in the Netherlands at University Medical Center in city Groningen. In 2017 720 participants from 52 countries took part in ISCOMS. The congress was held under assistance and direct participation of professor at University of city Groningen Bernard L. Feringa, Nobel Laureate of 2016 in chemistry for development and synthesis of molecular nanomachines.
After finishing the congress Valerii received the grant and passed through probation under supervision of Dr. R. Schirhagl at University Medical Center in city Groningen under topic “Diamond magnetometry for biomedical applications” that became the basis for joint with Dr. R. Schirhagl printed work “The role of nanodiamonds in cancer theranostics” (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/319140462_The_role_of_nanodiamonds_in_cancer_theranostics).
