RESULTS FROM ANALYSIS OF WORK BY COMMISSION FROM MHC
Today, the Commission from Ministry of Health Care of Ukraine performed the “public discussion” of the main performances of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University in 2017, headed by dismissed Kateryna Amosova, without her presence.
During the meeting, the Commission, having no confirmed evidences, assumed the comments on report in general and on such sections in terms of contract as if NMU does not perform the educational process at the level of state standard for quality in education, at the same time University is the only one among medical establishments that received the international acknowledgment of 3 stars in QS rating. There were doubtful comments on non-improvement in infrastructure complex of events, directed to provide with development of top-priority directions in medical pharmaceutical science, without taking into consideration that NMU is the only university that earned UAH 50 millions from scientific activity and it constantly improves this direction.
There were the attempts to find the comments on failure to follow to existing legislation, infringement in financial discipline, non-conformity in establishment of Anti-Corruption Committee of NMU, events as to prevention from corruption, staff appointment, signing the agreements about cooperation with foreign countries without consent from MHC.
The Commission from MHC under the head of acting Minister, having forgotten about conflict of interests, took the decision:
- To acknowledge the work of Kateryna Amosova in 2017 to be unsatisfactory.
- To recommend the Ministry of Health Care of Ukraine early to terminate the contract with Kateryna Amosova in connection with non-fulfillment of contract terms in 2017.
Let’s mention that all abovementioned as if infringements were checked by Court of Auditors of Ukraine, which found no remarks to activity of NMU under the head of rector Kateryna Amosova.
