THE RESULTS FROM THE 2ND ALL-UKRAINIAN UNIVERSIADE IN CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
The 2nd all-Ukrainian Universiade in clinical pharmacy was held on 20-21, March, 2018 on base of department of clinical pharmacology and clinical pharmacy at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University. 65 students from 12 higher schools of Ukraine (Bukovyna State Medical University, O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, M.I. Pirohov Vinnytsia National Medical University, Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy, Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Luhansk State Medical University, Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University, National Pharmaceutical University, Sumy State University, Uzhhorod National University, Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy) took part in the Universiade.
The tests were held at conference hall of consulting diagnostic polyclinic NCSH “Okhmatdyt” (clinical base for department of clinical pharmacology and clinical pharmacy at NMU) and included the individual contest in solution of problem-oriented tasks in clinical pharmacology, team contest in solution of clinical cases in clinical pharmacology, scientific practical conference of students and postgraduate students “Urgent issues in clinical pharmacology, clinical pharmacy and pharmacotherapy”.
The head at department of clinical pharmacology and clinical pharmacy at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, professor Khaitovych M.V., head at division of scientific activity of students, professor Pinskyi L.L., head at department of pharmacotherapy at National Pharmaceutical University professor Kireiev I.V., assistant at department of clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University Kaluhina S.M. made the welcome speeches to students.
The jury under supervision of the head at department of clinical pharmacology and clinical pharmacy, professor Khaitovych M.V. defined the best reports at scientific practical conference, the winners in individual contest and the best teams. Due to results from individual contest the diplomas of winners were awarded to Rafalskyi Viacheslav (NMU), Melnyk Natalia (NPU), Cherchenko Kateryna (NMU), Nemish Vasyl (BSMU), Kravchenko Iryna (NPU), Kucherenko Olha (NMU), Kholodenko Viktoriia (NMU), Samopadnyi Serhii (SSU), Kyrylenko Vadym (SSU). Due to results from team contest among 8 best teams there were 3 teams: United (Koliadynska Tetiana, NMU; Kravchenko Iryna, NPU; Kholodenko Viktoriia, NMU; Cherchenko Kateryna, NMU); VNMU+1 (Andriukhova Viktoriia, VNMU; Denysko Alina, VNMU; Kostiuchenko Anna, NMU; Nikolaichuk Sofiia, VNMU; Savych Valentyna, VNMU; Yurii Olena, VNMU), team of DMA (Dliaboha Lena, Dolnyk Maryna, Kyrii Hanna, Mokra Anna, Saidahmedova Zamira). Due to results from scientific practical conference “Urgent issues of clinical pharmacology, clinical pharmacy and pharmacotherapy”, 3 best reports by students were defined: Chronopharmacology of antihypertensive agents (Kupchak M.M., Malanchuk V.V., IFNMU); Modern approaches in pharmacotherapy of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (Verovska A.D., NPU); Influence of N-acetylcysteine and melatonin on the level of glucose in blood and body weight of rats with steptozotocynic diabetes mellitus of the 1st type (Rafalskyi V.Yu., Shypunin Ya.K., NMU). The excursion program of Universiade included the public showing of exposition in National Museum of Medicine of Ukraine.
